Casa Herria is really special, beautiful grounds, pool, rooms, coffee in the morning a beautiful house and Fernando is welcoming and helpful, super comfy bed and pillow a real luxury after many days on camino, the town is gorgeous and if you are doing the camino right on the path coming in and leaving - no extra kms

Beautiful place right on the Camino with modern and crisp clean rooms, and a huge beautiful garden with a swimming pool. The owner was so friendly in welcoming us. Nice outside terrace with free coffee as well as cold drinks based on donations. Quiet haven just a few steps away from the city centre.

If you want to feel like a king on the Camino Portuguese, Casa Herreria is the right place to relax. The owner of the establishment is very kind as well as caring. He will make you feel at home. Casa Herreria is very clean and the pool was just a nice bonus to relax.

We liked it all!

Manuel is the best host ever! We enjoyed sipping wine by the pool, washing our laundry, chilling and enjoying the grounds and having Manuel show us the frutería to buy produce plus the hot springs to soak our feet. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. There was water and chocolates in the room, too!

This home is phenomenal. Nice and clean. The owner or his father were so kind, warm, welcoming. They have huge back yard with patio, pool, drinks available. Location right in town. They gave excellent recommendations on places to eat.

Location excellent--a few steps from the Camino, and a few steps from all the restaurants and shops. The elderly owner who greeted us was so kind and warm and delightful. Gave us recommendations on where to eat and was so welcoming. Even though it was chilly, we got in the pool and it was lovely. Had drinks (provided for very minimal charge using honor system) on the backyard patio with newly made friends after dinner. Slippers were provided, along with a candy on the pillow. Everything was comfy and clean, and the AC worked great. It was wonderful! Would stay here again and again.

Our room was on the ground floor by the front door and next to the road (room 2) so a little noisy.

The hotel had lovely grounds at the rear and inviting looking swimming pool. We were able to have drinks there which was very nice.

The outdoor living space with drinks and an honour-pay system was great, and the pool & lounge chairs & grass by the pool were perfect. Our room was very comfortable with a nice shower. Also, the host (I believe it was actually the host’s dad) was so friendly and helpful, despite the language barrier.

The property is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Especially loved the slippers and chocolate on our pillows. Fernando was a gracious host and took care of everything (including helping me find my missing AirPod after I had already checked out). This place is exceptional and was a very relaxing part of our Camino journey.

What a fantastic place! We loved the patio and pool. We enjoyed take out around the outdoor table, the wine provided in the refrigerator, and the hospitality of our host. This is a charming place to stay, and it is a short walk to thermal pools and restaurants.

It is a beautiful property right on the Camino, almost at the entrance to the town center. It is very well appointed and the owners are gracious and welcoming. There are lots of amenities to make your stay comfortable.

Nothing, just a perfect stay

The warm welcome, the amazing garden, pool and outside living area were so welcome after a long very hot day walking the camino. The room had the feeling of a luxury hotel, complete with an aircon. I fully recommend a stay here, made me wish I had more days to stay.

We were lucky enough to have 2 nights at this wonderful establishment. We loved everything. The pool, coffee, location, check-in and the hosts. A great place to stay on the Camino.

We wanted to wash up the plates and cups we used, but there was no sink area to allow us to do that, which would be useful. I suppose that the owner was willing to clean up but we wanted to help as he was so nice.

A lovely owner who was very helpful. Comfortable rooms in a lovely boutique hotel. A superb outdoor garden with pool, so good that we decided to make up a picnic for the evening. The owner supplied coffee and wine. We loved this place.
