There is nothing to dislike

Beautifully restored granite stone building with lots of original features, including an exceptionally well restored espigiro( granite store). The hotel is right on the Camino walking route. The owner was particularly friendly, giving us lots of local information, and the food was exceptional! The black seafood rice was outstanding!

The room, while very spacious, is a bit ordinary for the room rate. No fly screen in windows. Very strong musty smell in bathroom.

Excellent lunch and dinner at the on-site restaurant! There are no real vegetarian options on their regular menu but they readily offered to prepare veg dishes for me based on what I wanted. (There were also numerous delicious-looking pastries which I was too full to try out!) Nice and friendly English speaking staff. Location on the Camino just 9km from Santiago de Compostela.

I can't think of anything

I thought the location was really charming. My husband and I sat in the courtyard and had dinner and a drink while my son watched TV in the room. It was almost like we were alone. In the morning we saw lots of pilgrims walking to Santiago de Compostela. The bed was very comfortable and as others have remarked the shower was very nice. I thought the staff was very friendly, particularly after a misunderstanding we had over the reservation, which was my fault.

What a unique place to stay! The staff were all terrific and accommodations the best we stayed at with a very large and clean room. The rooms were all ground level situated around a beautiful garden. It was so peaceful! They have a lovely restaurant where we enjoyed a late lunch upon arrival and then a delicious dinner. The dining area was beautiful as well. This is an excellent final stop along the Camino. From here it was only a 6.5 mile walk to Santiago making it easy to arrive prior to the noon Pilgrim Mass. Staying here was a real treat the last night on the Camino. HIGHLY recommend it and the restaurant. Note: there is very little to walk to around the hotel so once you are there, you are there - it wasn't a problem for us at all. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire time. Just thought it important to know.

I can't think of anything that was not to our liking.

The location was excellent being on the Camino trail. It was in a beautiful area with trees and streams, very restful. Also it was far away enough from traffic that it was quiet. The staff were welcoming and friendly, obviously wanting to make it a wonderful stay for all guests. Marco was so helpful with information re. getting to the airport and made us feel right at home. The room itself was very tastefully done, roomy, interior colors were asthetically pleasing and restful. We felt very comfortable and pampered. The restaurant food was great. I enjoyed a meal of bread, egg, ham, and cheese and the portions were generous. In the morning I fully enjoyed the tortilla ( egg and potato dish). It was a generous portion and very delicious. I cannot rate this place highly enough.
