Having to leave

We loved everything in this beautiful apartment. The view of Alora castle from the terrace was a joy to behold. The second separate toilet was an added bonus. It felt like home from home and had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. There was only the two of us but the three bedroom apartment would be perfect for a family or two couples to enjoy.

There isn't anything I didn't like.

What a beautiful apartment! This apartment is really spacious, the facilities are second to none, you have everything and more in this property, as if that wasn't enough, you also have the most wonderful terrace with a fabulous view of the castle, just wow! I can thoroughly recommend a stay here, the owners are lovely accommodating people, even coming out late in the evening to help myself and my father, it was a pleasure to meet such kind genuine people, thank you so much for all your help. It truly is an exceptional place.

The house is astonishing, I would say that the pictures don't do it justice. Its design is very unique, like an old house that has been extended into something incredible with all amenities and high standard. It is also massive! We stayed only a night but I wish we had stayed more. The terrace is very enjoyable too with nice view. We stayed in the three bedroom house.

There is nothing not to like.

This is a Gem of an apartment. Top notch! We stayed in the three bedroom apartment, the terrace was beautiful. I've never been in an apartment with all the facilities for comfortable living than this one. Dishwasher, washing machine, so many glasses and crockery sets. All very nice quality. A lovely touch is the wine fridge on the bar. Stocked with very nice and reasonably priced wine which you pay for with an honesty box. Daniel the owner was easy to contact for any information you would need such as where the public bins were. We met him and his wife a couple of times. They couldn't have been nicer. The apartment is perfectly placed close to all Alora has to offer, easily accessible on foot. Alora has quite steep roads but the apartment is on a fairly flat run into the square and main street. Also close for the bus which takes you down to the station to meet the train. We walked down to the station but always caught it back up the hill. Perfect place for couples and families. We will certainly be back very soon.

Nothing. A tad hilly so if not used to hills then think carefully before booking.

Location ideal. Cafe/Bar seconds away and local shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Nice apartment with all you need for a short stay. Owner very friendly and met us to hand over keys. Hillside town so great views across the campo...esp from the old castle...but bit of a walk uphill required.

there was nothing i didn't like, all was perfect.

The apartment was really well equipped, clean and location was perfect. The owner was so helpful and efficient with information and even collected and delivered my bib for the trail race I was running, so very kind.

In fact everything was ok, only thing which could be a nice to have is a OWN balcony.

Extremely clean and spacious. Beautiful views and big terrace. Very well equipped kitchen and dining areas. Gorgeous bathroom. Very comfortable living room and bedrooms. Great wifi and lots of power outlets for charging devices. Excellent peaceful location close to cafes and supermarkets. Wonderful hosts who are very kind and helpful.

The location was great, close to the main Plaza and in the flat part of town. The apartment was fully stocked and air conditioning worked well to keep the apartment cool on a warm summer weekend.

Excellent location. Spacious apartment that was clean and well decorated. Facilities were excellent with everything you need for self catering. The terrace is lovely private and has an excellent view of the castle. Will be staying again.

The location is perfect for Caminito del Rey walk. The apartment is in the centre of the beautiful town of Alora. Free parking is availble in a communal carpark a few hundred meters away. The apartment itself was great. Well kitted out and everything worked.

-Was extremely noisy, there is no insulation from outside noise at all. -Could be a bit more comfortable (common area and bathroom for example)

The rooms of the aparment border on the street. There is a lot of noise from the moto parking space, the front door that can't be closed in a silent way, a construction site on the other side of the street (01/2023). There is no exterior light (no windows) in the living room/kitchen/bath room in the apartment with two bedrooms. The doble bed is rather narrow for two persons (1m40?). We were mislead by the general pictures in Booking.com. We saw the pictures of the apartment with three bedrooms and a terrace and thought we booked that. Only when you click to reserve the 'apartment with two bedrooms' you see the pictures of that apartment. It's confusing.

There was a very good communication with the hosts. She was on time, guided us through the apartment and gave us a lot of explanations. We appreciated little things like some washing powder, tea bags, soap and shampoo in the shower, the oranges and lemons as a gift, enough towels as we stayed several days. They informed us we couldn't park the car on the parking lot on Mondays (due to the local market). The drying rack was broken: we let them now and it was replaced by the evening. There are enough extra blankets and pillows in both rooms.
