Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandI absolutely hated the noise in a corridor when people were coming back after midnight. They had no respect for others, laughter, crying, making a noise. Every night, I was waking up because of that.
Whe water park and private beach ⛱️ 😎 were fantastic. Staff are so friendly. Especially Cesar at the bar area.

United KingdomWe experienced Seriously noisy guests. Children running up and down the corridors unsupervised and slamming doors. Families with rooms next to each other keeping their doors open and wandering in and out of each other rooms talking at full volume with their babies screaming at 7am.
The location, the food, the surrounding restaurants, the facilities for my young grandchildren, the super friendly staff and helpful manager. The proximity to port Aventura and the town of Salou.

United KingdomThey only offer single rooms, no rooms with separate bedrooms for kids / living area. This would make it perfect if you could put the kids to bed in one room and then have your own space with partner. We were on ground floor and our balcony had a bad ant problem. Had to rent a kettle from reception and do several daily sweeps to keep the situation under control. Luckily they never ventured inside was only outside.
Everything you need in one spot. Several pools including their own in house water park to entertain kids all day + a kids play area, plenty of shops and restaurants close by & the hotel also backs onto the beach meaning you never need to move far once you arrive, perfect for a family holiday. Especially one like ours with a child with additional needs.

HungaryUnfortunately, cleanliness fell well below the standard we’ve experienced at other Best Hotels. Hallways were often dirty and had unpleasant odors, with trash left uncollected for days, and our room was not particularly spotless either. The pool areas were extremely overcrowded, with guests queueing in the sun for sunbeds even before opening time. Considering all this, the overall value for money was among the weakest we’ve seen in the Best Hotels chain.
The hotel has direct access to a charming, sheltered beach cove — perfect for children. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The water slides and play areas are very well-designed, offering something enjoyable for every age group.

United KingdomI think there was too many people, some of them dirtying and not pick up their mess, there was more dirt than the personnel could clean. The room was quite small, with not iron or kettle. The restaurant was good, especially the Brasserie, but a bit repetitive and too many carbohydrates option. People reserving the sun beds and leaving their stuff and going away. The big swimming pool was like a hot soup.
I liked the brasserie, but I missed beef options. I like the slides and the small swimming pool for the kids to be alone and the access to the beach, the reception staff was really helpful and nice.

MoldovaThe way the parking spots were assigned is very unfair. There is no control, and you have to keep asking if there is a free place available. We have parked on the blue line for 6 hours and asked maybe 6 times at the reception if by chance they had the place, until we got one (there is no list and they don't call or inform).
The facilities are very good, simple, spacious rooms, some signs of use in the bathroom, but everything worked correctly (no body lotion left in 2035)😂. The 4 pools and the access to the beach made me fall in love with this place. For our family of 6y.o. and 18 months, this stay was amazing. Most of the stuff was nice and helpful.

I liked that it was the first line, and attraction for kids. Very quiet district.

United KingdomThe shower cubicles are shallow and not best design, bathroom door affected by previous water run off so was black, and swollen on the bottom. Fine if you ensure shower water is low flow, then it doesnt splash and spill everywhere. Had a couple of tiny ants in the room assume come in from the balcony. Not an issue for us, i put them back outside. The childrens entertainment was ok for younger kids. Nothing to write home about.
Good for families and children, beach a few steps away, and two pool areas with the hotel, one a water park, one a pool. All inclusive was 3 meals a day, and a menu for all day snacks, drinks, ice creams, and drinks. Our room was on 5th floor, good aircon and a fridge in the room.2 Adults 2 kids Stayed 5th june til 12th Salou was a 10/15 min bus ride away, buy the travel card it has 10 journeys on, and can be topped up after if needed. Was able to get a sun lounger without too much delay. Buffet foot hot and cold. Something for everyone. Many people complain on reviews and i dont understand why. Have jam on toast, have cereal, have cooked brekki, have continental cheeses, meats, pastries, breads, fruits and yoghurts. Fresh omlette and pancakes. Lunches and evening dinners have pasta, pizza, soup and bread, salad bar, cheese and meats, chicken, fresh fish, various styles of potatoes, veg, and roasted dishes, they have a grill with meats, fish, sausage, burger, and usually a meat of the day like carved pork, or steaks etc.paella too. you will find some sauces and some items basic but remember this is basics in spain, mass produced food some from warehouse supplies in bulk, and some fresh. Its not 5* gourmet.

IrelandThe only downfall was the dangerous element of the balconies for children. My daughter had to block off the whole balcony to prevent 16 month old slipping legs between floor and balustrade.
Spotlessly clean, rooms cleaned every day. Great array of food to cater for all tastes. Friendly and efficient staff.

PolandThe place was untidy to say the least. The hall was not vacuumed once while we were there, and rooms were only slightly swept - there was a lot of sand everywhere at all times.
There is plenty of food and kids attractions. We had half board and at the very beginning they said it’s ok for kids to take a bun and fruit from breakfast. Staff is kind, but not many speak English. Private beach is great and with nice sand, there is also indoor pool, but it a bit dirty.
