How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

the fridge were pretty loud takes some getting use to the noise it makes during the night.
just a 30 minute walk from the airport which is ideal, the hotel is about 2 minutes walk from the beach shops and the bars, the room were very comfortable it even had a fridge, a nice room good value for money .

Reoccurring problem with room door entry.. took a day to get rectified but brilliant once sorted I didn’t like the smell from the near by Burger King

The floors in all of these stone type places are always dirty, so you have to wear your sandals all the time? The apartment I stayed in,didn’t have a balcony,so couldn’t dry my things.
The location of all 3 x Amic hotels are very convenient for the beach at Can Pastilla. They are simple in terms of design ,but fairly affordable.

Proximity to airport. Quick check in. Good location for airport bus also. We had a late night arrival and this suited us perfectly. No frills!

There is little to none isolation between rooms, so you hear everything. It was a bit disturbing since we arrived in the middle of the night after a flight and wanted at least few hours of sleep. If noise disturbances don't bother you, it shouldnt be a problem.
Staff seemed a little confused but really nice and ready to help. We really liked the proximity of the bus station and location overall. They also allowed us to leave our baggage at their place for a few hours after check out.

It's an outdated Building but it served my purpose well. The room was more spacious than I had expected. Old fashioned bath and shower but lots of hot water so good enough for me.

Location is on a back street, extremely dated hotel and didn't seem massively clean and safe. We booked for one night as we had a delay on our connecting flight till the best morning. Served it's purpose as somewhere to sleep for night but would not personally book for holiday.
It was close to the airport and was the cheapest hotel around

The hotel receptionist was new and didn't seem to know much Spanish. She spoke English well and did her best to answer our questions and explain the route to the neighbouring hotel for breakfast. We were initially confused, but found it without difficulty.
The breakfast was at a neighbouring hotel, but was good and worth the short walk. The hotel was quiet and the location fine for us as we were only there for one night.

We have stayed only one night before leaving to the airport and all was good. There nonstop stuff at the reception which is handy. You can walk to the airport - about 30, 40 minutes on foot. We did not have time to discover more about the area but there is a beach very close and also a market place.

Perhaps more pillows, no air conditioning meant for an uncomfortable night's sleep but unsure if that is because we couldn't work it or there wasn't any. The hotel has basic decor but this is not a major concern as the place was clean.
The hotel is a short walk (3mins) from the seafront. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms are very large and nore beds than booking.com show, we had 12 bed spaces for 5 people, with separate rooms, like 1-2bed apartments. The rooms were basic but clean. There were lifts but small. The hotel section we were in was across the road in a separate hotel. 24 hr reception and the staff open up the gate beyond 11pm to get you in that building. The rooms had also hot a small kitchen area and living space with table and chairs.
