There were just some minor things we didn’t 100% like about this hotel. First of all you only get one bottle of water per day included in the room rate, which we thought was not what you would expect in a 5 star hotel. Second, there are not enough sunbeds by the pool when almost all guests stay at the hotel. We had one day where almost all hotel guests decided to stay by the pool and not everyone could get a sunbed. Lastly, the service was not always what you would expect of a 5 star hotel. There was also music missing in the ocre hotel outdoors.

We liked everything about the property. The style of the hotel, the fact that you are in a beautiful town but also in a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The style of the hotel is very modern and cozy, the room was very spacious and clean. Everything about this hotel felt luxurious : the pool, breakfast and dinner area. A special thanks to the waiter Salva who was just exceptional.

Absolutely nothing

Wow! Hotel was truly magical. My husband and I came for our honeymoon and we loved the hotel so much we decided to scrap a lot of our exploring just to immerse ourselves in pure relaxation at the hotel. The staff was so attentive and answered all of our needs at all times of the day and night. It’s right in the city center and we had w chance to explore the Santanyi markets just a 30 sec walk. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again!!

Unfortunately a lot of residents using phones in restaurants, pool area etc. where there are signs asking you not to out of respect for other guests. This does impact the experience, as people talking loudly, or taking endless influencer selfies etc. in the restaurant is off putting. Somewhat expensive for the stay, and also the in room systems for IT are lacking in terms of a 5 star resort. Including WiFi and TV systems. I was able to reconfigure this as needed, which also shouldn't be possible.....! As part of my job I design IT deployments for the Hospitality sector so this may have impacted me more than others. However this should be looked addressed.

The staff really made the difference here. Wonderful across the board. Especially the daytime bar staff, and the staff member that gave us our initial tour. We also recieved an upgrade for our stay to a garden suite. which was absolutely stunning. The design and attention to detail is beautiful. To have such a stunning property truly hidden in a side street was very cool.

The weights in the gym are antiquated and need to be replaced. Sandbag weights are awful to use and the cables didn’t function properly. The gym was otherwise clean and spacious. We also ordered Negronis at the bar, (which are often our benchmark for costs) they were 15€ and were short pours.

Our room was fantastic. Private and very quiet. The candles and soaking tub were a lovely touch. Nice view out of over the property. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was great and bountiful. We ate at the pool bar twice and had a great lunch meals. Our stay was fabulous and we would return.

This hotel is an absolute dream. We treated us to a 2 night stay here and it’s one of our favourite hotels of all time. They made our 30th birthday celebration very special and the service was outstanding. I would recommend trying their restaurant Ochre, we loved the food there! Pool area and spa are out of this world and I would highly recommend staying here 💓✨

Sometimes felt the staff could be slightly happier

We visited Can Ferrereta for 4 nights following our wedding ceremony in Palma. We rented a car from the airport and the hotel is approximately 45 minutes drive from central Palma, but closer to 35 to the airport - we parked at a local free car park in Santanyi throughout our stay with no issue (5 minute walk to hotel). We loved the minimalist and slick decor of the hotel, which was surprisingly big once you were inside given the street size of Santanyi. There is a great pool area with plenty of beds to choose from, right next to the bar where you can order drinks and lunch snacks. Adjacent to the pool is the spa (also has an indoor pool) and gym - we used both of these facilities during our stay and were very happy with them. We were very happy with the room itself - which was large and felt well arranged, with a TV you were able to cast to, an espresso coffee machine, and large dispensers for creams and shower gels etc. The breakfast buffet was quite typical for a hotel of this size, but we felt the a la carte menu elevated the overall breakfast experience with some great options. We did not have dinner at the hotel but instead visit some of the many local restaurants, most of which are located within a 10 minute walking distance. We highly recommend Can Ferrereta for a stay in Santanyi, service and quality was high throughout our stay and there were no faults to report.
