We had a small veranda which was nice though the air conditioning units from underneath were placed there so that made the space less comfortable for sitting out. Great swimming pool but may be synthetic grass nearby would make for fewer mosquitos. But overall a wonderful place and location

We stayed for 4 days in Can Clotas and we are definitely coming back. This is a home away from home. The interior is cosy, the room we had (family room) was spacious and the staff is welcoming. Because we were sightseeing we only had dinner at their restaurant the last evening, but that is the best meal we have had in a long time (thank you chef Olga) so next time we will have our dinner at the hotel every night. The hotel is tranquil and calm and the nearby town of Cistella is very small and cosy. Thanks to Irina and Claudia in the reception for the best service.

The staff basically ignored us right up to the point when we were leaving and they needed to collect our "City tax" (local tax). We were only there one night, I'm sure if we'd been there longer it would have been a different experience. We arrived late and didn't have enough bedding for the kids and had to scrounge some by looking around the place in the dark. The room was a double with a fold out sofa for the kids and we had booked for four. Although I texted about the bedding we never heard a peep.

The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are very comfortable and stylish, perfectly matching the charm of the old hotel building. nothing I didn't like, BUT! make sure if are coming from France...go to Figueres first before starting the sat nav...it's just 15min, or you get the very small, long and twisty mountainous road that takes an hour!!

Just a lovely country getaway...top class accommodation, foods wines and ambience...used the well appointed cooking facilities available in the shared area, which had a lounge with TV etc and even a baby grand.

I had an exceptional stay at Can Clothas Hotel Masia. The setting is simply beautiful—a charming old masia surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. For travelers: a wonderful place to relax, an oasis of beauty and relaxation in Catalonia! Magic and a fairy tale come true! Here you will find everything for your comfort regarding the room, high ceilings, lots of light, a great bed, comfortable pillows and mattress, quality linen, warmth in the room. The staff is very polite and attentive! And of course the incredibly beautiful garden, patio, access to the pool, view of the forest. I highly recommend!!! For the hotel owners: thank you from the bottom of my heart, it was a great pleasure to stay at your hotel!!! Here are a few nuances for improvement: paint the outdoor wisteria mount to match the building or cover it with stone because rust spoils the view, clean the soft garden furniture and tables outside in the morning. Sockets by the bed are needed for charging your mobile phone, also a bedside table for convenience by hotels standards. The shelf in the bathroom is conveniently located in the center of the mirror or on the right and a toilet paper holder (everything is for your left hand, it is better to adapt it to the right, there are usually most right-handers)
