Very caring staff, always there to help you in your needs. The breakfast, typical Catalan breakfast, was very good with fresh homemade prepared muffins, fresh eggs from their own chickens. Clean rooms, and very quiet. Nice pool.

Not a real negative but a comfy chair in the room to watch tv or read a book would be a great plus.

Lovely room in great quiet location. Very hospital hosts. In the evening they serve a homemade dinner (so no card) which has to be to your liking but it tasted great. Loved the chilled wine from the neighbours. Breakfast is very complete and is freshly served, so no buffet. Loved it all, will stay again when I’m the neighbourhood.

In the morning, we were treated to a delicious and refreshing breakfast, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead. The tranquil and relaxed atmosphere of the surroundings provided the ideal backdrop for unwinding and rejuvenating. Furthermore, the location in the picturesque area surrounding Vilanova de la Muga added to the charm of our visit. After a long car ride on a hot day we arrived at the hotel and had a warm welcome by Jaume that offered to upgrade our room just because it was possible. We were so surprised and pleased with his kind gesture, beyond words. The property is beautiful and beautifully kept, the traditional house is full of charm that combined with all the lovely details and pieces decorating the space translate into an even more interesting experience. The entire space is extremely clean and welcoming. The private parking just great. Our room felt immaculately clean and fresh, was spacious, with a balcony, equipped with AC, ceiling fan, mosquito net on the balcony window and on the bathroom window. We didn’t even asked for the remote control of the AC, we preferred to sleep with the open windows and the ceiling fan on, indulging on the cool breeze of the night. It is possible to have meals if booked in advance. We had a fantastic breakfast, everything fresh and the products are homemade. Jaume and the lovely Nuria always making sure if we wanted anything more (the homemade jams and the traditional Catalan products are delicious!). The location is perfect, making it a great base for exploring the area. Our only regret was that we only stayed for a night and didn’t had dinner. Would have loved to spend more time in the property. Would certainly return and recommend it!

The only small criticism we had was that the room itself could have been better equipped - there was no water, soap, coffee/tea kettle.

Could have been a few gluten free options for breakfast but was fine otherwise.

Excellent location and great escape from Barcelona city into the lovely countryside. My dog was in heaven, with the open field for her to run and roll in. Beautiful building and super clean! Great host! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to get away with their dog. Excellent location to visit Girona, Roses, Figures and Cadeques. Great for parking and swimming pool ! Very relaxed and peaceful.

- Nice, quiet, relaxing country stay - Super friendly staff - Great local breakfast (7:30-10:30) - Nice and clean pool - Comfy bed - Dog friendly - Nice outdoor area and spacious indoor common area Overall super great stay, would totally come back another time! I suggest you have you own method of transportation because getting to the hotel and going to and from sights in the area is not possible with public transportation.

That we couldn't stay longer.

One of the best places I have ever stayed. Wonderful getaway. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating. Could not have felt more welcome. The dinner was simple but perfect. I will definitely be returning.

The location is rural situated out of the way on a quite road. Good central location to do the Dali triangle. The conversion of this old farmhouse has been excellently executed. The communal areas are great and well equipped. Games both indoor and outdoor and excellent pool. Breakfast was very good and plenty to eat. Hosts are very friendly. Highly recommend.

Although its a rural house, the rooms could be cleaner. There were many bugs in the room (just regular beatles). The breakfast was nothing special, and the rest was just fair enough.
