Located a short drive away from San Vicente de la Barquera, Bungalows Playa Oyambre is a camping & caravanning site with wooden bungalows to stay in if you are not camping. Facilities on the site are excellent, there is a bar/restaurant & a shop, play areas for kids, outdoor & indoor pools and a gym. Dog friendly for a charge of €10 a night and free parking outside your bungalow. The beach is a short walk away but uphill on the way back. San Vicente town is worth a visit although parking can be a challenge. Popular with people travelling to or from the Santander ferry. Makes a good first or last stop.

I helped myself to mayonnaise and got a verbal telling off from the waiter as" it was his job." I have had throat surgery and I can't eat dry food, that's why I was getting mayonnaise,I thought he was rude in the way he spoke to me.I felt insulted,it was disrespectful. I understand we are giddys, and I understand the long hours staff work ,but he was out of order.

everything , professional staff, location,the shop,pool and restaurant, the help from the staff we had a party of six ,two in their campervan, 4 in two different chalets and we felt very comfortable

Very comfortable place to stay with all services available at very good quality: accommodation, pools, bar and restaurant. Check in and out hours are also quite friendly as compared to other Western European countries. Clean, quite, relaxing. Even if it is a pet friendly place, it was totally quiet - they behaved like real family members😉. The warm inside pool was pure heaven for kids to end the day. I’m sure the outside pool was great as well but we just dis not have the time to try it. Staff were particularly friendly at the supermarket, at the restaurant and at the reception desk. We would definitely come back and recommend this place for a stay especially for families with kids, but not only.

Checking in was easy, the welcome pack with everything needed for a short stay, washing up liquid, basic toiletries etc. bed linen in particular was high quality, much appreciated. Our friends in a camper van were allocated a space near us which was very helpful. Lovely people working there.

Even though we loved the pool, it had far too much chlorine a lot of our jewelry got ruined and my hair is still damaged from it, even though I have washed it a few times since (one only got it wet twice). Our toilet stopped flashing...... they came to fix it but it stopped working again so we ended being moved to a different cabin. what meant pack everything to unpack everything, it was a bit of a pain.

We loved the whole place, it was a bonus to have swimming pool (indoors and outdoors) and bar in site. Very close to the beach and amazing staff.

It was a beautiful area and cabin. Everything was clean and the staff was very nice. It's not far from the beach and it's a short drive to San Vicente. We loved staying here!

We only missed a comfortable sofa inside and two comfy chairs outside.

We like the bungalow a lot. It was very cosy and all was good. The staff is very friendly, the bungalow was clean and has everything you need to cook. The two bedrooms had a window. Big frigde, small freezer. Little terrace at the bungalow with table and four chairs. The camping is located a small walk to the beach. The surroudings are beautiful! Surf beaches closeby!

A whole field for the dogs to play on. Easy access to the beach. The food was delicious and good value for money. The views from the cabin were stunning. The swimming pools were clean and warm and there was a dog pen to put the dogs in whilst you swam or sunbathed.

It was just perfect. We needed a place that was out of a town to chill between planned events. The bungalows were clean and well fitted out. You have to be really good friends or family as the sound privacy between the bathrooms and bedrooms is as you would expect from bungalow. The location was superb with beautiful beach 500 m away through fields. We were welcomed by a very friendly family team. It was really quiet and the whole site was well managed. I'd go again.

One small thing - the shower head and fixings are a bit broken and the water flow is poor because of this. Other than that, it was perfect for me and my dog.

The campsite is very professionally run and the staff are great 👍. Very clean and tidy. Great for my dog aswell. Loved it!

It’s hard to get fresh cool, air while sleeping. With windows open = bugs and outside lights shining in. It would be amazing with ceiling fans. Second room with bunk beds is very, very small

I don’t think I asked for a quiet room, but it was fine. Nice place to stop

The neighbours at left site very noisy - right side were smoking under my bedroom window - even early mornings - the houses are buitelt a bit close to each other
