i knew in advance that we would be a little bit away from the town of Moraira itself and the beach but I didnt know that we would be able to say get a taxi, so that we needed to drive everywhere for dinner etc.

the breakfast was excellent, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the pool area was really nice

Getting a taxi ,not easy as you are about 5 klm up the mountain out of town but the owners did their very best to help me .

Truly magnificent accommodation,such a peaceful beautiful place .the breakfast is to die so. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. Magnificent views .2 beautiful small swimming pools ,plenty of lounging area ,really really beautiful.

A fantastic hotel where everything is about the comfort of the guests. Beautiful, sophisticated decor, cosy, comfortable in every corner. The views from the pool terraces are breathtaking. Beautiful location, great spaces for relaxing and lovely pools. The hosts are wonderful and the place is idilic. Honesty bar full of drinks and nibbles and very respectful of everyone’s privacy as adults only- will definitely come back. Thank you!

Breakfast was perfect (can recommend the porridge!). The pool areas are very good to relax. The location is very good, a 10 minute drive brings you to Moraira and there is a lot to do in the nearby areas.

It was quite difficult to navigate the urbanisations to find the hotel. Even the sat nav kept taking us different routes. It felt quite isolated which is very appealing to some. Only one venue that could be reached in walking distance (golf club). A car really is essential to enjoy the local area.

It was very different than any other hotel we have been in. You could wander around and use any of the sunbeds, cabanas etc. you were not limited to one area.

It is not easily walkable to the main town although a cluster of bars at Cala Andrago is 25 mins walk away. A car is necessary. There is an honesty bar by the pool area, but some other guests who decided to finish our bottle of Cava were less than honest!

Caballito del mar is a haven of tranquility set among the hundreds of villas that cling to the hillside leading down to Moraira and the seafront. We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts but not obtrusively so. Breakfasts were delicious, cooked to order if you liked and served on a beautiful terrace. The views from all the terraces were wonderful and the place was very conducive to a relaxing few days. Bedroom extremely comfortable
