The beds were a little too firm for our liking.

The receptionist was very happy & helpful. We were traveling with a larger SUV and were worried about the parking, but the outdoor lot was gravel and had plenty of space. Just know to take care when entering and exiting the car park as it is a little tight. The room was a great size and the air conditioning worked well. It was also clean and comfortable. The beds were a little firm for our liking, but honestly everything else was so great that it was easy to look past that small fact.

Great hotel for cyclist. Clean, safe bike storage in garage, and hose to clean your bike outside!! You can also keep your bike in your room (though a bit tight, not sure two bikes would fit). Rooms are clean and comfortable if not large.

Our room was smaller than we expected from the photos, but still adequate and had all that we needed.

The staff were outstandingly accommodating and provided a tray with teapots of hot water and cups etc. for us to have hot drinks in our room and were always friendly and extra helpful. We didn't have breakfast but the breakfast area and bar and sitting area looked very nice. Everything was spotlessly clean and well cared for, and the beds were really comfortable. The location was a very nice area, a convenient 5 minute walk to the centre of town and convenient for walks into the countryside and parks. We had a very comfortable stay felt very well looked after, and would definitely stay there again.

Nothing. I was pretty content with everything, particularly the staff who were very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend Hotel Borrell to anyone coming to Olot along or with their family. They have parking, as well, which is super helpful.

Hotel Borrell has dedicated, secure, underground bicycle parking which I greatly appreciated. Location is quite good because it's within a few minutes walk of historic, old town Olot - and the lovely central park - but far enough away to be very quiet. There are modern restaurants a few steps away, if you don't feel like walking 10 minutes to the old town centre. The room was very clean, with great hot water pressure, plenty of towels and bedding, and adequate air conditioning. There was no noise anywhere in the property or the neighbourhood.

We were in Olot in advance of ballon adventure the next day. The Hotel Borrell was ideally located for this as well as touring Olot. Parking was easy, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable.

The price we paid for what you get is expensive. At the price we paid we'd expect things like: breakfast included; complimentary water in the room; coffee/tea in the room. None of this is included.
