Probably a personal issue but while the digital check in and out might suit some it was too impersonal for me. Some of the staff in the attached (excellent) restaurant showed complete indifference to the me the patron - a consequence of this digitally contrived separation from the clients?

Situation and superbly modernised historic building perfectly located. The host could not have been more helpful and accommodating.

Found the automated check in somewhat confusing/ frustrating..key pad to enter then an automated box on wall to get key card all while being watched on camera! I prefer a face to face welcome!

Hostal very clean and in lovely, if rather remote location. Various restaurants around and certainly within walking distance. The manager was quite helpful and very pleasant

This Hostal just happened to be at the right place on a cycle tour but we were so lucky to have picked it. A really nice hotel and a very interesting village. The museum/art gallery was fantastic, well worth a visit.

Very pleasant hostal, with clean and tidy room and facilities located on the edge of this small village, not far from the main autovia. Small bar/dining room served a pretty decent evening meal and standard breakfast of coffee and toast. Overall excellent value and we would happily return and recommend as an overnight stop.

The breakfast was very simple : an egg with a slice of bread and olive oil but wahoo : the egg was so so good ( perfectly cooked ) , the bread was just great and the spanish olive oil was fantastic ; all served so nicely !

The only reason that we didn’t give the property high marks for everything was because something was wrong with the AC in the adjoining room and it made a loud vibrating sound every four minutes all night long. It was so late that we didn’t want to disturb the manager. I think the problem was resolved the day we left.

The location is wonderful. We liked the ancient feel of the small town and the friendliness of the local people who were enjoying the outside bar.

Breakfast was disappointing, there was no discussion as to what was available. We were presented with two fried eggs and two slices of toasted bread. My partner doesn't eat eggs but no alternative was offered.

The location was great and it was a bonus to have parking right outside the hostel. Our room was warm and comfortable and the bed was very comfy.
