The owner was very helpful before and during the stay. He immediately resolved some minor issues that arose. The terrace was very beautiful and enjoyable.

Only the construction that was going on next door as they expand the amenities (adding a sauna). By the time I left, I believe the noisiest work had been completed.

I was first impressed by the quality of this building (the entrance door & gate, the marble flooring throughout, the high ceilings) and furnishings/linens. The location is on a quiet side street in the middle of everything. The gay aesthetic & amenities were another plus. The host also made nice recommendations for good food.

Ideally located in the city centre near all main attractions and shopping streets. Staff is really friendly and the service is really good. They really try to help if you need them. The roof top terrace is a big plus and if the weather allows you can relax there in the sun. Breakfast is good with a mix of choices from sweet to salted. On your departure date, huge lockers are at your disposal for free on the ground floor. It’s an appreciable advantage if your return flight is in the late afternoon or in the evening. I also liked the simple and friendly atmosphere where you feel at home. Maybe I was lucky but the other guests were also very nice and willing to chat while taking breakfast in the morning.

Everything about Banana Gay House is terrific. It has a new, well cared for feel. The only thing that spoilt it was the weather!

I could hear door slamming in the morning but not sure if it was next door. Ear plugs fixed that. No issues.

Emilio was very friendly and communicative. The place is spotlessly clean. The continental breakfast is simple and tasty. The blue room was big enough with an ensuite. The roof top space is private and gives skyline views. There is a short walk from the hotel to catch a direct bus to the train station. Get the bus direct from outside the station.

The air conditioning is centralized so you can't adjust the temperature of your room.

Great location just a few steps from Plaza Nueva and not far to La Alameda gay area, friendly atmosphere and staff - Emilio with his partner. Enjoy the roof terrace with self-service bar and feel free. Possibility to interact with the other guests. We would definitely stay at this place again when we are in Seville.

Roof top deck. Nice staff but limited English. (Of course I was in Spain). They notified me that they found my credit card upon cleaning the room and I was able to retrieve.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

The hosts, Emilio and his partner, make you feel right at home. The rooms were spotless, AC works great and I was here when it was 40c+ outside. Bathrooms were very clean, and hot water was plentiful for showers. The rooftop terraces are a great place to relax and get to know other guests.

We were declared no-show because we were two hours late to check in—as foreign travel is often unpredictable. We arrived at 10 pm rather than 8 pm, which was our planned arrival time. The manager was upset because he had tried to reach out on the day of our travel and my phone was offline in the afternoon. They left us without a room, scrambling to find lodging after our arrival. In addition, they booked as as a no-show and we received neither the room nor a refund. The manager informed us that this was not a hotel, in which case perhaps it should not be listed. In a city and country where people are seated to dinner at 10pm, surely they can have a desk attendant until midnight.
