Hotel needs maintenance, spa has extra cost.

Unfortunately, the breakfast let it down badly. It is the same limited selection of food, everyday, which consisted of 3 supposedly 'Hot dishes'. Bacon, Scrambled Egg and a Spanish omelette (Tortilla). However, they were on an electric hotplate, but sadly, this only dried the rather dry, rubbery scrambled egg up, even more. That it was then totally inedible. The slices of bacon were very fatty and greasy and the 'Tortilla' triangles were left on the side table, so were neither warm nor cold. On our third morning, there was nothing 'Hot' provided ( No Eggs/Bacon/Tortilla) or Fruit juice on the Buffet table at 09.00 yet Breakfast is supposedly to be available until 10.00 There was no one on Reception to ask otherwise. We then ate in a local cafeteria, for something hot, as the weather was cold and rainy. Only semi-skimmed milk is offered and there are no alternatives, for lactose/gluten allergies etc. There were two over ripe black bananas in the fruit bowl for our entire stay. They were absolutely rotten. Today, the teacup I had, had a big chip missing, which is a hygiene standards problem. For a 4* Hotel - it needs re-addressing immediately and somebody in Management, needs to take responsibility for the 'poor standards and rectify them as soon as possible.

Hotel is perfectly situated within a 5 minute walk to the main centre of Langreo, which has many cafeterias and shops. Although there are other cafeterias closeby, as well as a local food supermarket and a very large chinese store, which sells everything! It was clean and the staff were polite and helpful. Plus the car parking facilities were safe and had immediate access into the hotel. We did not use the Spa facilities. However, the room we were allocated (206) and its furnishings, were rather dark and depressing. It is in need of a re-paint in a brighter colour, as the walls are a dull nicotine shade, with streaky stains on them. The paint was also peeling off, in the bathroom and this is also in the same depressing shade. The twin beds require the mattresses changing, as they are lumpy and uncomfortable, as are the 'bolster pillows'. Finally, the safety deposit box was also broken, so was out of use during the 4x night stay. I did report it to the Reception upon arrival - but no-one came to repair it.

I have stayed in many 4 and 5 star rated hotels, and this is the first time there has been an additional cost at check out to use the swimming pool facilities. I understand there would be additional costs for nail treatment or massage but not for using the pool only.

The hotel is in an excellent location for touring Austuria.

The standard queen, could do with Coffee or Tea facilities or a Mini Bar. Arriving at the room with some sort of refreshments available would make it a 10

Great central location, modern hotel with all the facilities you could possible need. Comfortable beds and great finish. Parking directly to the right of the hotel is free. Perfect for exploring Langreo.

Flies in the lobby. Get the mosca 🪰 machine or swat them. The cleaning crew is way too diligent. The limpieza knocked on my door three (3) times during a span of three (3) hours. I mean damn... ease up. My AZZ ain't that dirty. I put the "No Molesta" sign on the door, on the black ☑️ side... STILL They came in. The most annoying noise in the world is a knock on your hotel room when you want to sleep and you put the ❌ Do Not Disturb. Told the front desk, wouldn't you know they still knocked to clean. Please use that vivacious energy to swat the flies in the lobby. My AZZ.

Love this place stopped many times. Lovely old mining town. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Hotel very good. Parking down a long ramp. Ok for motorcycles.

The hotel room is not worth the money. The location is very boring, the spa is not included in the price. The cost of the room + spa is too high. The food in the restaurant is delicious.

The walls of the spa are very thin so if people are being loud, you’ll hear everything.

Langreo is well located to so different excursions throughout Asturias region. it was clean, spacious, has a really nice spa and spa services and the staff was very friendly.

The room was dirty - the net curtains are grey and sticky with dirt. The bath was not clean. There was an empty fridge but no mini bar as advertised on booking.com. The hotel restaurant opens at 2030 and is shut at 2200 and the bar at 2300 so when I arrived at 2310 I could not get a cold drink other than tap water. There was no kettle in the room or tea making facilities. There is a coffee machine in the foyer but no tea. The hotel staff speak poor English and no one in the restaurant speaks anything but Spanish and the menu is only in Spanish and they take 45 minutes to serve a Salad ! Breakfast is basic toast, cereals , some parma ham basic cheese and scrambled eggs ( that look like as if my cat was sick! ) all for a generous 10 eur. Its amazingly poor for a 4 star international hotel.

It was close to to the place of business. The bed was comfortable and there was very good internet. The only thing that was good was invoice preparation.

Better organisation at breakfast but that was due to not enough staff. The “bar” was not a bar but an extension of the booking in desk and both were served by just one member of staff most of the time. There was no cafeteria as advertised when we booked but it was closed.

Carla on reception was excellent and everything was always done with a smile.
