How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Just a great hotel with fantastic staff in every area AND lots of staff to cater to big numbers of arrival too so it didn't ever feel like we had to wait to be seen - fantastic! <3

All is excellent specially the bed. Even though I was pregnant, I didn't have any trouble sleeping, we slept so well. And after we checked out, because the weather was 40 degrees, they still let our daughtr stay longer in the swimming pool and told us that we could keep our luggage in their storage. The breakfast buffet was also the best!

The price is a bit high, but I understand it depends on the rest of the market
The closeness to the airport and the ability to access the hotel by car, given that it's just in the limit of Madrid's low emission zone is a big reason to choose this hotel. The breakfast is superb, with multiple gluten-free options.

From the moment we arrived, the reception staff made us feel truly welcome. They were not only warm and professional but also went out of their way to provide helpful tips on navigating Madrid, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself is immaculately maintained. The lobby and business center are very spacious, offering plenty of comfortable seating and workspaces, ideal for both relaxation and productivity. Our room was pretty big featuring a large, cozy bed and a modern, roomy shower — the kind of comfort that makes you look forward to returning after a day out in the city. Location-wise, the hotel is perfectly situated just 15 minutes away from Madrid-Barajas Airport and about 12 minutes by car from a massive shopping mall, making it convenient for both travelers and shoppers alike. One standout gesture that deserves special mention was the complimentary underground parking offered to us for two nights — a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. All in all, the Marriott Madrid Airport Auditorium delivers top-notch facilities, exceptional hospitality, and genuine value. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers looking for a seamless and comfortable experience near the airport.

This is an extraordinary hotel with great ambiance. It´s close to the airport and it offers many facilities like bars and restaurants open until late at night, swimming pool and very modern facilities. Breakfast is good.

Do not rely on their airport shuttle service. They do not run large enough buses and when you don’t fit on, despite queuing early, they just shrug. I would have expected better from an airport hotel.

No shuttle to Madrid town centre.

Not much. We went for a walk but not much to see. This hotel is just for using the conference and meeting facilities and airport.
Our room was quite big and comfortable, it exceeded our expectations, internet was good, we used room service for dinner with was quite good. We went by car so the parking service was great. This is a big hotel with lots of conference and meeting rooms, very nicely decorated.

Breakfast was not replenished regularly so some items like plain natural yoghurt was limited. Fruit selection was also limited at breakfast.
Close to the airport with regular shuttle to and from the airport. Good sized rooms. Nice pool. Well equipped gym. Sauna. Great variety in room dining. Very pleasant check in staff.
