Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. nice apartment, spacious and 2 bd/2 bath perfect for our family. metro close by. staff let us store luggage all day at their office in town after check out.

Czech RepublicVery poorly equipped kitchen - 2 tea spoons for for peoples, no tea kettle, no baking tray, no chopping board, no peeler, no sharp knife, no bottle opener, toaster didn't work.... It was imposiblle to cook there. Only one tablet for dishwasher (for 5 days). The upper bunk bed had missing bet rail, so a child can´t sleep there, because can easily fall down. We didn´t like the mobile key application.
Excelent location - close to the center, shops nearby. Nice balcony. Clean rooms.

United Statesthe property looked like it has seen better days. The hallway when you walk in looked like it needed a fresh coat of paint. The furniture in the apartment looked outdated, and warn out. One of the shower doors was broken in one of the bathrooms - glad we had two as the other one was ok. Overall not as nice as in the pictures.

LatviaBroken hair dryer that does not work. Unlocking the door with a phone app that only works sometimes. Attention - never come home with a discharged phone, you will have to spend the night on the street, because the owner of the apartment will not be reachable. The parking lot is very narrow. Better never know how narrow it is. The washing machine does not work. Very hard beds. An extremely unresponsive office, to some extent one could say shameless. Communication is terrible. We cannot recommend this place to anyone.
Well equipped kitchen. However, there are few dishes in the kitchen. Good air conditioning system. Large rooms, modern equipment and design.

Perutoo expensive for its value. It just had the basics like a bed or a couch ( old couch) but it didn’t have anything else. you didn’t want to stay there. also, I felt absolutely cheated by the reservation. in booking I payed for the full price (as I have always done in the platform) and I didn’t see in a very little and grey text that sleep by urgell charges more than 100 euros for cleaning !! (and it’s an apartment where it is only cleaned once, it is not even a hotel ) . I felt cheated and the apartment was not even worth the price . also, it is very annoying the amount of emails that I received from the administration.

GermanyThe apartment is pretty much run down. The walls in all rooms were dirty. The tables in the living room have peeling veneer. The fabric on the chaires were filthy, covered with dirt spots on the seating pads and back. The sofa although in a dark grey color showed dirt on the front edge of the seat chushions and the back from other people's SWEAT AND HAIR GREASE. The flooring showed scratches and holes. The glass panel in the living room was missing. The sink in the small bathroom was clogged / unuseable. Mold on the grout. Filthy floors. Beds were uncomfortable. You noticed every spring. The dirtiest apartment I've ever been in. No personal touches like pictures etc. The hallway of the building is unfinished.
The location of the apartment was central and acceptable.
