There is no publicly available drinking water, you need to buy additional water separately throughout the day, evening and night. At night there is no possibility to get hot water for tea or other drinks. There is no hot water kettle in the room.

Good accommodation. Good staff. Close to sea and train. Possible free parking on the street close to hotel except Tuesday because of its market day .

Not a big issue but the shower head holder was unstable. It’s an additional €12 charge to use the gym and spa facilities, it’s expensive if you’re using it every day.

It’s a lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet had a great selection every morning. The hotel is close to Carrefour and the beach. It is our second time to staying in Santa Susanna and we will be back again!

I was not clearly informed during booking that the hot pool is not included, so I paid extra during my visit, and it cost me roughly 150 euros. I have not received any kettle in the room, which I have to pay extra for it and the tap water I was using in the room to fill the kettle was quite salty, so I have to buy a water bottle to make tea in the room. Initially staff gave us a few packets of tea and milk, then we had to pay extra for any more tea and milk. This was a new experience for me, as kettles and tea are usually complementary in hotels and resorts. I understand that during dinner, we are meant to purchase drinking water from the restaurant. And if we ask for tap water, the catering staff doesn't seem very happy to provide it. A few times, we drank tap water provided by the staff was quite salty as well. I think it would be advisable during booking to inform visitors to consider all the costs in mind, as all of it comes extra.

Extra charges for use of indoor swimming pool were a little bit disappointing.

We used this hotel as our base for exploring Barcelona, as its location is very convenient, either you have your own car or use public transport. Train station is located just outside the hotel, and you can travel from there right to Placa de Catalunya. Hotel itself is near the beach and short walk from Carrefour supermarket. As we travelled in low season, Santa Susanna town was rather very quiet and most of the shops and restaurants were closed down. Despite that, hotel was lively and full of tourists from all over the world. Our room was clean and spacious, with super comfy beds and nice view from the balcony. Teenage kids enjoyed their time at the swimming pool and game zone room, which were a life saver during bad weather we were unlucky enough to experience. We loved the breakfast, with great selection of hot and cold food, pastries, fruits and even Proseco for a good start of the day. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable.

- very little soundproofing between the rooms as well as between room and the corridor - odd room layout with toilet and basins not next to one another - poor lighting, especially in the shower - probably a room issue, but we had constantly flushing toilet

Staff aren't very engaging as a 5 star hotel do. They are good, but you can see a difference. Its a good 4 star hotel.

Breakfast was good, but things aren't replenished quickly. Even juices. The earlier you go, the better it is. The location is good, but it's one of the further out good hotels.
