The washing machine door handle was broken. The old school elevator was really small, only fits 3 adults, harder for families travelling with bags. There was a pre programmed timer for the air cond power, so it turns off after 4 or so hours, may be inconvenient during hot summer nights.

Well equipped, air conditioning was a huge bonus! Big spacious kitchen.

I don't appreciate when a "full bed" is just 2 twin beds pushed together. The air conditioning automatically turns off after 3 hours, which made it hard to sleep comfortably through the night.

The location was great for walking to Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter, and also easy access by taxi to other parts of the city. The apartment is spacious, comfortable for 4 people. The kitchen supplies were basic but sufficient, and the washing machine and dryer a plus.

The linens & blankets were dirty and the mattresses were cheep. The noice from the street and the courtyard was too loud. The curtains were cheep and did very little to block out the bright lights. The wall art was disappointing. Why would you hang Chinese scenic art in a Barcelona vacation unit. That's like hanging pictures of ski slopes in a tropical island resort. And that Eyeball painting is just creepy. Barcelona was an awesome city to visit. We spent 10 days here, but by day ten, we were happy to leave this apartment.

The Location, Kitchen and Bathrooms are nice, modern and in new condition.

Are you in need of two working toilets? What about extra pillows? - you won’t find either here. This stay was a disappointment. One toilet was broken when we arrived. Instead of rebooking us at another location or letting us know prior to arrival (so we would get a refund) they just said we could “close the door if we didn’t want to hear the running water sound”. We specifically booked this for the full use of 2 bathrooms. We were told a plumber would come fix it around 3pm the next day… it was 11:45am and he showed up, was there for 5 minutes then left. The toilet worked for a single flush then went back to running again. We contacted the host and they said they’d let the plumber know. - the plumber was never seen again and we never heard from the host again about it. The place is old. Very dated and furniture shows significant wear (to the extent they are now taping the footrests of the sofa). The drapes are falling in one bedroom and do not provide any light blocking in the bedrooms. The kitchen has a terrible smell. Most likely from the vacuum and dirty cleaning shoes they keep stored in the closet. The dishwasher has a mildew smell to it as well. We asked 3 times about the location of the trash bins we were to dispose of our trash and never received a response.. we walked down the street until we could find bins and disposed there. The air conditioning turns off after 3 hours use. Which is really annoying no matter the season. The beds are TERRIBLE. The mattresses are thin, ratty and hard as a rock. This listing needs to clearly state you are renting a location with SIX (6) single/TWIN size beds. Do not be fooled into thinking it’s anything but this. Because it’s not. The pillows are FLAT and you get one per bed. Don’t bother with asking for more, they don’t have any but they do have heavily stained throw pillows available in a closet. Supposed to be 3 bedrooms but the 3rd was the size of a cupboard a disgusting tiny bed and nowhere to put a case hang clothes or any other thing.!!! Disgusting not clean the bedding didn’t seem clean and tiny baby size pillows . Just a dirty horrible place. One of our party had to leave and go to a hotel because of the disgustingly “small bedroom”
