I'm not sure. The pool was closed for the last few days of our stay, but I was reassured by this because it means they are not taking water quality and safety for granted.

The location is excellent. Direct access to the beach. The beach itself is clean, spacious, well maintained and has plenty of facilities. Inside the beach gate there are showers and foot showers to wash off the sand. The apartment block is located close to several excellent beachfront cafes, meaning it is hard to find an excuse to leave your immediate area. The pool is clean and well maintained. Ignore comments about the apartments being dated, those comments are out of date. The apartment is fresh, modern and clean, with all facilities, excellent centralised air-conditioning and plenty of room for families. The centre of Salou is within walking distance along the beachfront. There is also a bus stop very close to the apartment and there are buses running along the coast that will take you to Cambrils, Salou, Tarragona or further afield, cheaply every few minutes. Note: you pay the driver in cash. There are small supermarket chains very close by that sell everything you will need. Having toured around much of the area, I think this may be the best locality to stay in the Cambrils-Salou area.

The fact that we had to come home! 😢 Ask for an apartment on the opposite side to the Best Maritim Hotel, as this can get a little noisy with deliveries taking place, but not the apartment owners fault!

The communication! The beach a few steps away. Coded entry instead of worrying about losing keys! The big balcony, with a large airer to dry washed clothing! The bus stop being next door! The super air con! The modern kitchen, with dishwasher, induction hob, oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, iron & ironing board. The welcome pack with kitchen basics was fab until we could get to the Supermarket a couple of minutes walk away. The space we had was brilliant! The walk in shower and modern bathroom with hairdryer was great too!

I needed a mobility scooter but it would not fit into the lift as the lifts were too small however plenty of room for luggage and 2 people. Also there are no sun beds around the pool just 3 wooden benches however the beach is two steps away so not a huge issue. We stayed in the side overlooking the rear of the Best Marítim Hotel and some nights and early morning 0630 hrs the noise woke us up, staff shouting at each other delivery men shouting and glass bottles been tipped into a bin

The location was excellent rooms all had a lateral sea view and the apartment had everything you need. The receptionist was very responsive and answered our questions promptly via WhatsApp.

Balcony gets only about 1 hour of sun the whole day . Walls were all bare and some pictures/ paintings would have made it feel more homely

Bright modern apartment, with private onsite parking bay. Dog friendly and situated frontline to the beach and promenade where you can take 25 minute walk into Salou. There are a number of bars and restaurants close to the property.

Since we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, the door code was transmitted by WhatsApp message and the parking key was left for us inside the apartment. Everything was perfect as usual--there were even welcome treats and bowls for the dogs!

It’s a bit noisy at night and early morning from the adjacent hotel when getting rid of bottles. Apartment would benefit with a kettle. Neither of these real issues as I was only there 2 night. Pool does not open until 1 June which isn’t clear on the booking. That was disappointing.

The property was very central with direct access to the beach. The property itself was really clean and very comfortable. We were a family of four and there was lots of room. The host company are very prompt and easy to deal with.

The surroundings of the hotel are not that nice (other than the beach), and there was appr. 15-20 min walk to the Salou center where there are more restaurants etc available. Double bed in the other bedroom was uncomfortable.

We stayed in superior apartment with two bedrooms. It was newly renovated, spacious and cozy. Location by the beach was nice. Pool area looked good, but in April it was too cold to swim so we didn't use it. Well equipped kitchen, there was even a washing machine which is really good. We booked parking in advance as advised by the hotel. There are not much public parking available near the hotel.
