How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Getting into the apartment. A set of stairs to the sleeping area that was more substantial and comfortable.
We had a great deal of difficulty getting through to someone to meet us at the property. We tried for about 15 munites to get through. We tried multiple lines numerous times. The instructions on who to call and how to call should be much clearer.

there is a playground just in front of the house, so it is noisy until 11-12 pm

Extra Pillows and blankets. I thought you should have a sofa bed as this would allow room for a family of 2 people sharing. Also would have been nice to have Netflix provided

there is a kids playground directly in front of, so lots and lots of noise with screaming kids( and teenagers) from 16:00 to 22:00 h everyday! Not relaxing at all. Also the view of the ocean is obstructed by the cloths which protect the kids from the sun. Minimally furnished, the sofa is not a sofa bed, there is no armchair in the living room and barely any decoration on the walls. IMPORTANT: The presentation on booking says « apartments Varadero and spa », there is a picture of the jacuzzi, but we only found out upon arrival that our apartment did not have a jacuzzi, or a terrace, or a balcony, very very disappointing! Also, why is there a plastic sheet for the double bed in the room? This was a first for me

The bedrooms/bathroom downstairs are good, but the stairs are steep & awkward. Would be very difficult for elderly or people with limited mobility. The children's play area outside can get a little bit noisy. We were happy, but others might find it disturbing if they want a peaceful break.
Apartment was perfect for our needs. Location near beach, shops & restaurants. There was sufficient equipment in the kitchen - good quality & very clean. The private terrace was very nice. Blinds, window shutters & aircon were appreciated. Beach chair & parasol were appreciated.

The location is absolutely amazing. The view is stunning. Very spacious and clean. Jacuzzi is a nice addition

The location is in a crowded area filled with apartments, very narrow steets and parking is hard to find. We were lucky to always get a free space in front on the building, but this might be even more difficult in the high season.
The apartment had everything we needed, good kitchen (lots of appliances, main ingredients like salt, pepper, sugar), very comfortable bed, working ventilation fan in the bathroom, 2 ACs, great bed … we paid around 70 eur/night, which we think was fair.

The photos do not do this apartment justice, The sun terrace overlooking the beach is incredible. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t always great so the hot tub on the roof terrace was a bonus - loved it. The apartment was spotlessly clean.

14-20.03.24, very clean fully equiped apartment, bed very good, all you need for a short or longterm stay. Uncomplicated check-in/out, communication before moving in was very good. Would stay again and recommend this apartment.

No view, couldn't see the sea, children's play area In front of the apartment noisy into the evening. Owner sending unsolicited sales messages during stay. I did raise the issue on check in around us believing the apartment would have a sea view and out door space and although the apartment was clean and lovely it was a box and I could have been anywhere. This was the most expensive accommodation for the whole of our 2 week trip through Spain and is the only one I wouldn't book again. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.
Apartment was very clean. Facilities inside the apartment were great had everything we needed. The area was nice and location of apartment very good.

Im very disappointed and sad about this place. I left this place two weeks earlier because it was unbearable. Downstairs bathroom stinked awfully, and when we asked help from the landlord, he accused me that I was throwing hygienic pads to the toilet. Furniture was warned out, so the sofa was nearly broken, and all the apartment wasn't fresh. It's not worth time, money, or effort.
