The studio was excellent and the surrounding fields were beautiful. The hosts were very welcoming and made sure they told us it was away from the village. After taking off our packs and resting a bit we took a stroll to the village for a bite to eat. Loved the stroll too!

Nothing to dislike

Beautiful location, quiet and tranquil. Apartments really well presented. Facilities good to prepare a meal. Right on the Camino about 10 minute walk to nearest restaurant and 15 mins to centre of Rabanale where there are two small supermarkets open all day to buy food but choice of restaurants too

Very quiet just off the camino path. Nice place to chill and relax. A short walk to Rabal if you wanted but we bought a meal and cooked ourself.

Rooms not as soundproof as some others so if you have neighbors talking at normal volume you may hear them. But I wouldn’t let this put you off, the area, space to yourself and privacy outweigh this minor inconvenience (if it happens at all)

Beautiful property in quiet idyllic setting just ten minutes walk to town. Tv, kitchen, dinning table, couch/coffee table, modern shower with great water pressure. Has everything you need. Owner is very nice and offered to drive me into town.

We enjoyed Las Carballedas while walking the Camino. The lodging is located in a beautiful and tranquil setting just outside Rabanal. We had a kitchen and so brought our own provisions, which worked out very well. We enjoyed our stay.

I’ve been a pilgrim on the Camino, and this place gave me peace in the wilderness. The place has perfect cooking facilities, which is kind of rare on this journey. So if you wish to cook by yourself, there’s probably your best chance on the Camino.

Could hear water constantly running and found that the Toilet leaked so turned off water in bathroom. Yes, we turned it on again in the morning.

Very picturesque. Just outside of town. Caretaker offered to drive us the 1/2 mile into town for dinner. Short walk back and loved seeing the cows!

Only one very small fault. The dishwashewr had not been emptied and someone had washed a wooden chopping board in there. This had turnde mouldy. Not The end of the world.

Beautiful quiet location. Ground floor access which suited my 94 year old mother. Apartment equiped with everything you would require for both a short or lengthy stay.

Right on the Camino about 1km to the town. The host Alex was incredibly helpful. The nearby village can be easily walked to for supplies and food. A comfortable stay with self catering facilities.

We stayed at las Carballedas while on the Camino. Even thourgh the apartments were not directly in the village it didn't bother us. The manager offered us a ride to the village but we preferred to walk. It took us about 15 minutes on foot. Our apartment was nice and well furnished. We were glad they had a washing machine so we could wash our clothes and dry them in the dryer. There was also a huge community space where people could bring their food and use the plates and glasses provided. We enjoyed the quietness of the place to relax after a day of walking.

Very peaceful. Perfect place to rest overnight. Bring your own provisions or walk 1km to town. The apartments have fully furnished kitchens, there is a washer and dryer on property. Great place to relax

The owners were great to communicate before and during the trip. Alex took us into town to the Mercado and was willing to wait for us. Kitchen equipped to make a meal. We liked the experience we washed all of their cookware and dishes before we left. Apartment size refrigerator

Beautiful property, perfect location along the Camino Frances … prior to the town itself. Comfortable, well appointed apartment kept cozy with radiators, warm floors, pretty decor. Paula and Alex are truly kind and helpful with recommendations and even as others have experienced - a lift into town for a quick shop at the local tienda for what you need for fixing a snack or your own meals. Alex also pointed out a restaurant is not far down the road and it was open on a Sunday (it’s still winter) - in case eating out was preferred. Peaceful. Comfortable sleep. I feel lucky to have stayed here on my journey after a day of walking in the snow and wind along The Way. I would definitely stay here again, if ever passing thru as well as recommend to others.

Nothing to not like, but be aware that the location might not suit you if you want to be in the centre of town, though he does let you know when you book. It IS on the Camino, BEFORE you come to Rabanal.

Great rooms, lovely location in the countryside, and the owner even gave us a lift as he was in the bar where we were having lunch! Such a nice guy, and offered if we needed lift back into town he would if he could. This was really above and beyond, as he had emailed when we booked to make sure we knew that it was a 15 minute walk from the centre of the town. Not a problem, we were on the Camino! Rooms were lovely, spacious, very clean.

We booked two appartments for a family of six, It is located in a rural area quite close to town. They went out of their way to let us know that its not a central Location but thats what we loved about the place. It is a beautiful farm house, both appartments are made of stone and wood, with a beautiful traditional design. Very clean and spacious, and had everything we needed. We loved the peaceful green surrounding. It was quiet and felt very homely. We would love to come back.
