Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

This little apartment was in the most beautiful location at the top of the mountain with only one road in. We booked it very last minute as we couldn't find a camping spot near Poncebos for some walks that we wanted to do. Luckily this little gem must have come on last minute as we couldn't see anything available a few days before. The little village was quiet, with a few locals and walkers/ bikers. We came with our 1 year old and there were chickens, ducks and dogs roaming around which she loved. There is also a tiny play park for older children. We ate at the hotel restaurant la taberna de tresviso which was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced with the best view. We had coffee at el redondal opposite the apartment on the day we left but it was closed the other two days. The apartment was comfy, cosy and had everything we needed for a good rest after our walks. Just bring everything with you as there are no shops near by. The host was lovely and made us feel very welcome when checking us in. We recommend this to anyone who loves the mountains, good views and nature.

United KingdomFabulous location! We felt very lucky to be staying in this hamlet in the mountains - it really is a chance to disconnect from the world and enjoy nature. It was so peaceful with only the chickens, turkeys, geese & friendly dogs playing in the road outside. No traffic when we were there (very early July) and not many other tourists. As others have said, the village is at the end of a winding 1 hour road but there is hardly any traffic so take you time to drive (& take your food shopping). We had the upstairs apartment which was very comfortable for 3 of us and had everything we needed - it had a lovely view down the valley. There is a bar opposite - the food looked good there but we didn't get chance to eat as it wasn't open in the evenings but we ate at the small hotel in the village and had a fabulous meal (amazing steaks & local lamb). Everyone we met was very friendly. Stunning views in the area. Walking leaflet was in the apartment. Walks are well signposted from the village but we found some walks were clearer than others (walk 34 seemed to disappear after a couple of miles). Walk 30 to Urdon had fabulous views.

United KingdomHeating in the apartment was a bit erratic and not controllable, seems to be on in the day but off at night when you needed it. Some of the appliances need updated, washing machine made a terrible noise, hob a bit awkward to use tucked away in a corner. Could hear the flat below quite a bit. Dogs also always barking in the village. Unfortunately when we were there workmen used a digger and jack hammer morning to late afternoon everyday which spoiled the tranquility.
Superb location but very remote, quite a drive to get there, you need the right vehicle!! No local shops for food so you need to bring everything with you, otherwise it would be at least a 2 or 3 hour drive to get anything. Great restaurant next door with superb food and drinks, the hotel restaurant was also very good.

United KingdomThe property was beautiful, inside and out. It was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Plenty of towels provided and toilet roll. The views were amazing. During the day there was a lovely buzz in the village, with hikers and locals. It was a peaceful location; we slept very well throughout our trip. The restaurant opposite serves delicious food at very reasonable prices. The host was friendly and helpful.

United KingdomTwo restaurants in the village but no clear opening times. If you are unsure, eat outside of the village. It was difficult for us to self cater, as we were on motorcycles. However, car drivers can bring provisions and make good use of the kitchen facilities.
The most amazing area literally at the end of the road! Santa (our host) is lovely and very helpful.

NetherlandsThe place lies in a tiny farmers village called Tresviso, which, though very beautiful and peaceful, is completely isolated high within the mountains. Therefore, I would suggest getting your groceries and everything you need from any shop before you get there, as the nearest village with a supermarket of any kind is about an hour away back by car (over the most beautiful mountain roads imaginable though). There are 2 small restaurants with great local (but special, maybe not to everyones taste) food though, but relying on these may be tricky because they are not always open when you expect them to.
Peaceful place, truly one of a kind, perfect for a (hiking) retreat in the stunningly beautiful Picos de Europa. The apartment is quite large, has everything you would need (nice, clean bathroom, cozy and beautiful bedroom, kitchen with everything you need (though think of the food, as suggested in the cons!), and a cute living room) and is romantic in a local style. Everything looks clean and new.

Australiayou can hear everything from the neighbours above and below, even their snoring. they had a baby that cried a lot throughout the night and you could even hear them watching movies until midnight which made it hard to get a good night of rest. the shower was also quite small
beautiful, cozy apartment with stunning views of the mountains. located in a tiny town with no shops, it’s very quiet and tranquil in the area. kitchen was well stocked with equipment, but no coffee/tea/oil so I recommend bringing your own. the owner was very kind as was her dog.
