How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was a little noisy at night.

It was slightly dark and a little old - but that is just the style / era of build - easy to look past this. The car parking is also very tight (starting with the car lift).
Great location with short walk to most things, good size apartment, nice rooftop and pool (small but enough to cooldown), great to have onsite parking. Nerja is a lovely seaside cottage. Balcony de Europa, the beach and the nerja caves were thoroughly enjoyed.

Perfect location. 10 mins walk from Balcon de Europe. Rooftop pool a bit small but perfect to cool down. Joannys restaurant right outside the door was excellent. Had dinner on night we arrived and lunch another day and both times it was so good.

Nothing that I didn't like just a few points of note. I couldn't really comment on the staff because we really didn't see anyone. We didn't actually need anyone and there was contact numbers if needed. We did message and ask for an electric kettle as it was on their facilities list and we like our tea but never got one. There was a coffee machine but we couldn't figure it out. We saw a staff member day 4 when we made payment. Also no safe, however it wasn't on their list of facilities so I didn't bother asking. Finally on the back of the apartment door was a number for airport transfer the apartment organises at a cost of €70. You just give your room number and departure time. Very handy - We booked however the driver charged us €85 at the airport. These are all minor things. We would definitely go back as the apartment was amazing just pack a travel kettle and double check the airport transfer price before booking.
The Location was amazing. Between Burriana Beach and Balcon de Europa. About 7 mins walk to each. Also if you leave the apartment and stay left 4mins walk take straight into the centre passing an irish pub and a few bars that show the premier league matches. The apartment was spotlessly clean with a small swimming pool, jacuzzi and sunbeds on the roof. Fantastic property, great location

Only snag was no hot water working on day before we ended our trip but the other days were excellent

Kitchen was not WELL equiped No smart tv, only Spanish programs Hard Bed Intermittent wifi often not available in the evenings Apartment had several small balconies, none you could sit out on You need to ring a telephone number to speak to Maria who speaks English. The man in reception only speaks Spanish
Lovely quiet location (at night) 2 restaurants next door. The apartment was larger than expected. Extremely handy for sightseeing round the town. I believe it also has a garage. The maid came in once a week.

The view of the building renovation site across the street.
The location was very good, central to the town but on a very quiet street. It was easy to find and access the apartment was simple. Plenty of parking available nearby. The rooftop solarium was well equipped with good views to the sea. The apartment was well equipped and very comfortable. Spacious enough for two or three people.

Fabulous location near the beach and town. Lovely roof top pool and jacuzzi with plenty of sunbeds and shade if you want it. The whole building was spotlessly clean. Can't fault it in any way. We will definitely use again.

Parking is hard to find. Located in a small street and it is elevator type. Need the key before being able to get to the parking as it is a lift triggered by the key.
Really convenient and all is needed for 3 people. Love the location

There was one blanket missing and I informed about it the owner - unfortunately he lived far and adviced us to turn on the air conditioning to heat. But I would rather expect to solve the issue in another way.
The location is very good, close to the balcon of Europe and the centre of the town. Just next door there is a restaurant with really tasty and fresh food. There is a parking additoinally paid but the owner showed us a free parking which was great. The apartments were big enough with big windows and a lot of light. The kitchen is very small with too little place.
