Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

TurkeyThe manual lock on the main door had been locked by someone overnight. We couldn't get into the house for an hour at midnight. Fortunately, we asked one of the guests staying there for help. He came and opened the door. There is no need for that lock.
Location was excellent. You are access to center in a few minutes. There are markets, car park, cafes, restaurants nearby. House was clean. Central air conditioner was working perfect. Its important in Sevilla in August. Thanks for all.

ItalyI wish it was made a little bit clearer that a €100 deposit is needed to be paid in advance while confirming the payment of the stay. This is is eventually refunded a few days after check out
Highly recommend this apartment: it is located in the center of Seville, walking distance to Alcaraz and Cathedral (4 minutes) and 20 minutes walk to Plaza de Espana and 15 minutes to the bus stop for the airport bus. It is a very nice, bright, well decorated and spacious place, equipped with anything you need. There is no key: you access the building and the apartment via a code, which is extremely handy as you do not have to carry keys with you or risk to lose them.

SpainThe shower was very slippery and I ended up falling over however I have contacted the property and hopefully they’ll put some shower mats down to stop this from happening again. The water would be very hot then cold all of a sudden. The towels were tiny.
The location was fantastic and the property was very clean. Kitchen facilities were good. Beds comfortable. Good sofa bed.

United KingdomWe arrived at the property but had not had an email telling us what the code was . Our telephone would not work and the host was very slow to respond to my email. A wonderful woman who worked next door rang them and they then emailed us the key code number. It was very stressful. Once we were in the apartment it was really lovely

United KingdomThe pre-arrival was a bit frustrating. The online check- in was v long and the link site was not well formatted. Even after having had my check-in confirmed, I still received incorrect chaser emails every day for several days, until I emailed 'stop!' . I was told the door code would be sent at self check- in time (3pm) on the day of arrival, which I thought was rather late and would not allow for any phone/ connectivity issues. In the event though the code was received at lunchtime, which was appreciated.
Lovely light and unexpectedly spacious 2nd floor apartment. It's in the thick of a lively and historic, central quarter of Seville ( recommend taking earplugs for a better sleep). The lift was a bonus.

MaltaThe only small downside was the €100 extra deposit charged to my card. However, I’m happy to confirm that it was returned promptly the day after we checked out.
We really enjoyed our stay at Iberflat Fabiola! The apartment exceeded our expectations – even better than the photos. It was clean, stylish, and perfectly located just a 5-minute walk from the cathedral and all the main attractions in Seville. We appreciated the door code system, which meant no need to carry keys around – very convenient!

IrelandIn case you like to cook and cook most of the time while on vacation and barely eat out, you would need to purchase basic cooking things: such as salt, pepper and oil.
Nice and cosy with everything needed. It is located in one of the narrow streets, Fabiola, in the city center. Narrow just enough for one, only one small car to fit in the space of the street. Still don’t know how taxi drivers go there, but they maybe are used to do it. There is practically everything used for cooking, pans, fried pans, a capsule coffee machine. The host left some capsules for the first breakfast. It’s those wide big capsules. So for those who rent a car, better get by taxi or any other public transport. Rent a car if you go to the new part of the city or even outside of the city, with wider roads and wide boulevards. If you like to walk, get this place and walk on the beautiful, walkable, narrow streets in the old city center. We took the top floor(4th floor) apartment with a beautiful terrace and a small kitchen. See the pictures with the wooden ceiling. Has elevator which is just perfect. We were in mid November, which was just about perfect weather for those who don’t like heat and still crave for some sun and enjoy 20-25 degrees Celsius during the day. With 12-16 degrees during the night. Did not need the AC at all. Probably during summer would be too hot, but I don’t think I would ever travel to a southern city during July or August. Even talked to locals that 40 + degrees in July and August is too much and they hate it. They love Sevilla 10 months a year and hate it for 2 months. October, November is just perfect weather for me and my family. If you decide to walk more and travel using public transport, get a travel card. TUSSAM card for 1.5 Euros and top up for 7 Euros which can be used up to 20 trips. That’s 0.35 for a trip per person. I used one card for 3 persons. Just tap it while getting on the bus 3 times and you’re good to go. You can find sale points not far from the place, usually at tobacco sale points.
