The location with the most beautiful view. The host was helpfull and answered all our questions. The accommodation has everything a person need for short term stay.

If you’re planning to cook while your visit, the kitchen has really just the main kitchen facilities. Also the stairs above the kitchen, oh my… I’ve bumped my head there so mamy times during our 5 day stay, so be carefull there as well. 😅

Friendly and helpful staff, lovely room with balcony overlooking the sea, mountains and historic towers. Proximity to the beach and Nerja. There is a lovely little cafe next door with fresh fish. You can eat outdoors under a pergola, covered in bougainvillea with sparrows and ring-necked doves hopping around. The views are incomparable. Maro is a little bit of heaven and the unpretentious Apartamentos Balcon de Maro have it all.

There were a few apartments with a smaller balcony and no table in it and unfortunately we got one of those.

Older, but well maintained and clean unit with good beds and bedding. Seamless booking in and we were accommodated with an earlier check in. Beautiful view over the sea. Small but adequate kitchen area and enough utensils

Unit is on the small street, so one must expect the sound of vehicles and people passing. Not serious as there is double glass and an air conditioner.

The apartment was fully fitted out with everything needed for a short stay - including a short kitchenette. Located in a quite village but had views over the hills and sea. The apartments are very close to the main parking, and a 10 min drive from Nerja, where we went for a quick dinner. The apartments were very close to the Nerja caves, which I would highly recommend!

Our room was on a raised ground floor, and our room was not very private, with the balcony on the road side, at head height. (pros and cons with the view)

It's a beautiful place with a beautiful view. The room has got all you need and is clean and comfy.

I'd recommend renting a car as most things are long hilly walk away

Studio apartment and I didn’t realise that the bed was on a mezzanine floor. The stairs up to the bed were steep and difficult to climb. Light not working on the floor. Very difficult to use the microwave and fridge as under the stairs.

The view from the balcony wasn't maybe top with some construction work in front, but value for the price was perfect for a single travelling

The view was beautiful. Quiet area.

The windows were thin with one glass fixed with nails (the old style), there was condensation, they were full of mold, you could hear every little noise from outside, plus at 6 am, the city cleaners started cleaning the sidewalks with some kind of pressure washer and the windows were not soundproof at all.

The locaton of the room with a beautiful view was lovely and a nice restaurant close by was a bonus. The small kitchen area provided basic appliances and dishes etc

The furniture needs upgrading. The chairs were uncomfortable to sit on and the mattress was very hard and old. The bedding though clean was old and worn. There was no sound proofing between rooms and every small sound from adjoining rooms was clearly heard.

Quiet location with great view. Good value for money.
