Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BelgiumThe food is horrendous. They served pig feet stew and severely burned pizza. It's best to completely avoid the hotel's dining package. However, the issue is that nearby stores are also poor in quality, and you’ll need a car to reach a decent supermarket. Flooding has damaged much of the furniture in the room. The fridge is in terrible condition—so rusty it looks like you could get tetanus just from touching it. The Guinness pub at the hotel entrance causes both noise and cigarette smoke to drift into the room through the balcony. Overall, the area is quite remote, leaving you stuck with very limited and unappealing options. There is no parking at the hotel, and given the busy area, you end up parking in a flooding canal nearby.
The price is good value. It has an immaculate exterior: the white building and the glass balconies are kept spotless clean. The grounds are well-maintained, with walkways, gardens, and building exteriors kept in spotless condition. It gives a good first impression upon arrival. The room is relatively spatious for Ibiza. It offers a full range of services, including several pools, a baby pool, regular play areas, and evening entertainment.

SlovakiaQuality and offer of food it is not for 4 star hotel. At the breakfest any butter, fresh vegetables, untasty jogurt. At the lunch and dinner every day was frying chicken breast, any lamb, veal, or beef. All inclusive program did not include coffea. It was like bad joke.
Location of the hotel is fabolous. Near the nice and calm beach. Port San Miguel has amazing atmosphere in heart of nature. Moreover animation team was great.

IrelandPorto San Miguel is a quiet area of Ibiza... maybe too quite :)
We really enjoyed our stay in the resort. Staff was really nice and friendly; it was clean, and the all-inclusive had a good variety of food and drinks to choose from. The beach is only a few meters away and you can go between the pool area and the sea without any problem. San Miguel is far from Ibiza town, so factor that in.

Great for kids and families, highly recommended for a family vacation. Pools, kids club, mini disco and activities. Breakfast was excellent and the accommodation is good for what you pay, we had a spacious apartment with sea views. No complaints.

SpainIt's really hard to park there. The are can get really pacjed and finding a space is a matter of luck and patience. I guess the hotel could offer parking for their guests in the future.
First of all, it's a family oriented hotel. Lots of kids and facilities for them. If you're looking for a couple getaway, this might not be my preferred place BUT, Port San Miguel is a beautiful location and given the kids facilities, the beach was pretty empty. Unfortunately, we had to leave before the reserved time due to a health urgency (we had to take a plane back home) and the staff was IMMENSELY understanding and empathic and refunded the corresponding time we didn't stay (we left 3 days before the plan). SO I'm really grateful with them. Also, if they make a reservation for you in a nearby restaurant, as a hotel guest, you get a discount.

United KingdomEverything regarding the hotel itself was perfect. However, the first 2 nights I hardly slept as there is a bar called Caseys by the hotel's entrance and the music was loud. Even though it was on the front and our room was set back, I could hear the words of every song. Apparently they have an all night party to close the season so there was music playing until 7am. Awful and such a shame for the hotel. It should not be so close. Once it shut the remainder of the holiday was very peaceful.

United KingdomSnack bar could offer more and breakfast / dining options could be better. Very small resort, not much around so you need a car as you would get bored here for a week or more. Nice beach a stones throw away. Kids entertainment needs improving.
Good swimming pools for children and families plus an adults pool. Nice hotel complex but small. We enjoyed our short family stay. Drinks were cheap. Had a couple of supermarkets near by and a couple of restaurants.

New ZealandVery tired, run down, the beds were uncomfortable and hard, and the twin beds pushed together were different heights. The linen old and tatty. The fridge was rusted. It was awful and I checked out and found alternate accommodation.

Germanybadly furnished, worn out, in need for renovation.
too loud- in general. Stuff not friendly, often seem to be not in a good mood. Loud by the pool, loud on the terrace - my room was close to the place they meet for smoking breaks , so this didn’t make it better in terms of smell and noise.

MaltaThe room we stayed in was visibly old, with mould in some of the ceilings, a hydromassage shower which didn't work... I was expecting more for the price paid.
The location of the hotel is great, right by the beach in a very calm bay. In the period we went (October), there was parking around the premises, which made it quite comfortable.

United KingdomDo not stay here if you have any specific dietary requirements. The food in the restaurant is not labelled so you will have no idea what you're eating. The only gluten free product on offer was a rock hard roll which was offered with every meal. The plates and cutlery were not particularly clean. Of the 2 ladies' toilets which served the restaurant and the pool area one of them wouldn't shut. The baby changing room door also didn't shut. The fridge in our room was possibly about 30 years old and the ice compartment had a thick layer of frost (I'm talking inches thick). The shower head in our room needed replacing. Our bed frame was too small for our mattress and the mattress overhung by about 20cm.
The pools are pretty good, plenty of space and plenty of loungers. I think the cleaners do a good job in the rooms, but the maintenance is very poor so there is only so much they can do.
