France48 reviews10 helpful votes“Excellent apartment with a lot of potential, but let down by its management”It was difficult to obtain the keys as the hotel holding them was a five minute drive away through narrow busy streets. This wasn't easy to navigate with young children and only one adult. I asked if there was a washing machine before arriving and was told yes, but in fact there was not one. This was very inconvenient as we had to do a lot of hand washing. Had we known beforehand we could have brought more clothing! Communications between the hotel managing this apartment and us were incredibly poor. I tried messaging several times and was largely ignored. The apartment was advertised as air conditioned, which indeed it was, except for one major glitch... signs all over the apartment complex saying that air conditioning units must be turned off at night. In the middle of summer this made sleeping conditions unbearable, and in fairness it should be stated clearly before booking that the apartment is NOT air conditioned all the time (particularly given those times are when you most need it on).
This was a nicely placed apartment in a complex which was kept tidy. The pool was well maintained and clean, and loved by the kids. The beach was a short walk away. The parking was excellent, especially in summer, as the car stayed cool underground.
