This is a hotel with a difference. Designed to be energy efficient every part of the hotel is paired back very earthy, lots of natural wood. It was a delight to stay here. The central area of the hotel offers a nice area to relax and a separate area for meals. The grounds also offer a place to sit and relax. The bedrooms are very modern and comfortable. The best part about this place tough is the people who run it. Three generations of lovely ladies were there when we stayed and nothing was a bother to them. We had dinner at the Amiuka which I highly recommend. It was delicious. We were walking the Camino Norte and this hotel is pretty much on the route, staff showed us a quick shortcut to rejoin the Camino.

Location was about 10minute walk from the Main Street it wasn’t a big deal but the building had no visible signage and unnecessarily walked around the block trying to find it.

I would have eaten dinner there but the Mass time was at 7 and the dinner was 7:30-8:30. Maybe an earlier dinner time?

This modern family owned and operated property is a lovely change of pace from some of the older and rundown Camino places to stay. The modern architecture both inside and outside harmonizes with the natural environment. It is obvious that much personal thought went into the design of this property. The outdoor garden area is spacious with a variety of seating both in the sun and the shade. The rooms are spacious and appointed nicely. The staff is friendly and kind. It is less than a ten minute walk from restaurants but you can also order dinner there as well. Just a 5 minute walk from the church where the pilgrim Mass is conducted.

What an unexpected joy this hotel was. The town of O Pedrouzo was kind of basic, so this hotel was a very welcome surprise on our Camino. The design was contemporary and unique - very eco-friendly. The bathroom had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff was wonderful. The location was perfect and the staff helped us with directions to continue our walk without backtracking. Highly recommend!

Some proper black-out curtains in west facing rooms would be good as the metal shutters don’t really work that well!

Almost Scandi feel with bare wood and minimalist design, but all works well. Little way from town (a few extra steps if coming thru on Camino), but nice and quiet.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. It is a gem of Pedrouza. So much attention to details, so much heart poured into everything. It is eco-friendly and extremely cozy woth all the wooden details. Staff was so nice and helpful and did everything for is to have a great time. Breakfast was also good. I almost didn’t want to leave. :) The house is built in memory of Uka - she must have been an amazing woman.

It is a beautiful property. We stayed he on our 4 th night of our 5 day Camino walk. We left early to finish by 11:30 to make the moon mass. Breakfast doesn’t start until 7:30 but the gave us some food so we had a little bit before we left. The property is beautiful and there is a store nearby so we bought wine and snacks and enjoyed before we went to dinner.

Very modern, extremely! comfortable bed, very clean. Good common space, pretty surroundings. Luxurious. Excellent dinner and breakfast are available for purchase. Special shout out to the breakfast ladies who were very friendly and eager to help. Would stay here again for sure.
