It was stated it was two ks out of Zubiri and we walked four as we took a wrong turn. A sign earlier on except at the final Y junction would be good. Our legs were already tired.

Jesus the proprietor was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble (eg we don’t eat carbs so he cooked us omelettes for breakfast). He cooked the dinner which was absolutely delicious, was totally committed to making our stay really good - it mattered to him. Clean, blankets for everyone, pool (great for tired legs), private showers not a whole bunch in one room. A 10/10!! Thank you!! :))

Nothing - would definitely stay here again but hopefully get there a bit earlier next time.

This was such a lovely place to stay after a difficult day heat wise on the Camino. Great welcome from the staff and a lovely meal - gorgeous pool - real chilled place to stay.

It was a little hard to find with Google maps.

Our host cooked us a lovely pilgrim dinner. And he also made us toast and coffee for breakfast.

Nothing. Jesus has literally thought of everything and makes sure you’re comfortable.

This was the best albergue I stayed at on my Camino. Jesus was so accommodating and provides everything you need. The beds were comfortable, it was clean and well designed, and everyone felt incredibly at home and all of the guests stayed up drinking, talking, and laughing after Jesus served the best meal I’d been served at any Albergue.

A homely and welcoming Hostal. Intro to all the facilities was seamless, the pool was a particularly inviting after a hot day walking. The home cooked evening 3 course meal was a bargain at €15.00, I had spicy seitan as my main. Throughly worth staying here, a lovely couple.

Great location just off the Camino away from the more popular Zuburi where everyone else stays. Immaculately clean, good bunks, nice pool and quiet pretty location. The dinner offered that we all shared was delicious and intimate as I imagined a pilgrim dinner would be and a great change of pace to the massive albergue in Roncesvalles. The hosts were accommodating and provided whatever we needed.

Can’t really think of anything. The charges were fair for everything provided.

The owners went out of their way to provide food options including a dinner as the few restaurants available were closed.

If you desire to be among your new found friends staying in hostels (alburgues), this is too far to meet up for dinner and away from Zubiri.

The food on this Camino de Santiago stop was phenomenal. Beautiful salad and roasted chicken for dinner. Plenty of clothesline and racks to dry out wet clothes. Provided newspaper to put in shoes which dried them overnight. Pool that I didn’t use but looks fabulous. Very helpful host. Washer / dryer 4 euro each. One 4-bed bunk room and one larger with two bathrooms and shower. It was excellent and just 30 mins down the road from Zubiri.

There closest nearby grocery shop is at Zubiri. So if you need anything or want to grab some food for the next day, make sure to get it in Zubiri (if you are heading westward).

The water pool and communal dinner was amazing. We felt very welcomed and got to connect with other fellow pilgirms over amazing food. The location is slightly off the Camino de Frances trail, and it's a great stay if you decide to go pass Zubiri (a popular stopping stage). Urdaniz is a really nice tranquil place to stop at, and less crowded too. Beds were decent and the shower was good. This was one of my most memorable stays on the Camino.

The room was spacious, with a bunk bed setup that comfortably accommodated eight people and still had space for luggage. A great one-stop accommodation that offers a place to stay, drinks, and a pilgrim dinner & breakfast.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Bent the rules in order to prevent my friend with a dog from having to sleep under a tree. Also, the evening meal was MUCH better than other Albergue evening meals.

Literally nothing to be honest. All was perfect.

The HOST he is awesome! I was arrived earlier than the check in time, he allowed me to stay at the communal area. He make me feel like home, even he doesn't speak english and using Google translate. He is such a good cook, the dinner that he prepare was so good, one of the best meal in my camino walk. The swimming pool was another highlight too! The only thing we need after that long walk.
