The bedside electrical sockets stopped working when the bedside lamps were switched off. This meant that we had to leave the bedside lights on to charge devices even when otherwise they did not need to be.

Zuberoa y Flavien were friendly and attentive. The hotel common areas and rooms had character and were charming. The location was central in the village, with terrace chairs on the main square and close to the river where swimming is possible in the summer. The food was exceptional -- a fine breakfast buffet with home-made pastries / tortas and a stand-out cheese platter and dinner was an imaginative and carefully cooked 3 course menu different each night for a very reasonable price. Good quality wines were available by the glass or bottle also at a decent price.

Perfect young couple making the best of this hotel. May have three or four stars. Breakfast with great variety and choice. Even by request fried eggs. And most of all take dinner here. Favien makes an excellent dinner for you with choices of good wines. Nice small town for a walk and swimming in the river. Nearby a large cheese factory also with good honey

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent made from local produce and greatly exceeded my expectations. When I return to the area I will book this Hotel.

Superb - such a friendly and comfortable hotel in a great location . The hosts went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable serving an Excellant dinner and breakfast . We stayed here on our motorcycle trip the quiet village was perfectly safe for parking . Great walks locally too

Host is very kind and speaks English well. We loved Burgui, the village is very friendly and situated in a beautiful area. The hotel is charming and comfortable and has a good continental breakfast. We had dinner at Almadiero one evening and enjoyed very well prepared meals and amazing butterfly clams. We went to nearby tavernas but none as friendly as in Burgui. The town is near the start of the Roncal valley, which is very beautiful and follows a river. We are road bicyclists and the area ideal for biking. What a treat- we would stay again.

rustic charm, in a traditional style in a tiny square with flowers on the facade. great food with local products simple and effective. there is no lift which may be an issue for some but it’s a small place.

I would have liked to have been able to buy a cup of coffee. In order to get a cup of coffee in the morning i had to pay for a breakfast which i didn,t want. Bit of stale toasted bread , butter and jam and a couple of pointless little cakes. Coffee was ok though.
