How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The host is a wonderful person and helped us a lot in many ways. There was wine in the suite—we didn’t try it, but we really appreciated the gesture. We also loved the coffee; having it on the balcony in the mornings was such a pleasure. Since the property is located right in the center of Ronda, everything was perfect for us. We truly loved our stay!

Amazing, modern apartment in a perfect location to explore Ronda. Raúl (the host) was extremely accommodating and greeted us upon arrival with tips and recommendations for our stay. 10/10

Mr. Raul deserves an award!!! A very kind and helpful man. Due to circumstances we had not arrived in Ronda until 11pm. Mr. Raul assisted us by phone and passed on instructions so we could enter the suite. Top service!!!! The suite is simply amazing. We will definitely come back.

This apartment is impeccable with great facilities & in a very good position to all that Ronda has to offer. Everything can be accessed on foot, including the bus stop, train station, supermarket & Ronda historic town. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, large fluffy towels in a modern clean bathroom. Raul is a responsive host, providing detail that is not always found in this price range; coffee pods, wine, water & chocolate and a warm friendly face on arrival. Highly recommended.

Lovely apartment in a great location. Raul was an exceptional host, who met us at the apartment and took time to talk us through all we needed to know, including the best places to visit, the best walks, parking, WiFi and great local restaurants. He also responded very quickly to any additional questions we had during our stay. All round, an excellent place to stay!

The apartment was clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is located right on the main street, just a short walk from all the main attractions in Ronda. Despite being in the center, it was surprisingly quiet at night, so we slept very well. Most of all, we really appreciated the host – he was extremely responsive, met us at the property, explained everything and gave us recommendations for things to see and do.

The studio is not large, but comfortable for a couple on a short stay 3-4 nights
The renovated studio apartment is on the main retail street in Ronda, there are a great selection of restaurants, shops and gelato choices. The studio has two double panes glass doors with small balconies. A vibrant area, but very quiet when the doors are closed. The bed and furnishings were tasteful, excellent shower, white fresh towels. Raul greeted us, gave us a quick walk through on the apartment and mapped out for us his restaurant recommendations.

Raul personally met us prior to check-in and allowed us to drop our bags while we went and grabbed lunch. The flat was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. The location was perfect and set right on the main pedestrian street. Highly recommend staying at Raúl’s place.

The *best* stay we had on our two weeks trip in Spain. This apartment was renovated at a very high standard, everything was so high quality, in beautiful style. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, the place is spacious for two people, and the location is perfect. Raúl the host is so friendly and helpful.l A complete 10/10!!!!

Raul was great, and couldn’t have been more helpful throughout - his restaurant recommendations were excellent, he booked parking for us, took us through the main sights on a map, etc. The apartment was very pretty, clean, cozy, comfortable and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful, and the location was very central and perfect for walking to the sights of beautiful Ronda.

We liked everything!
We stayed at Aljara Suites during our visit to Ronda, and it was an exceptional experience. The suite was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated. It featured a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living room with a lovely balcony. Its central location made it easy to explore Ronda, as everything was within walking distance. Our host, Raúl, was incredibly kind and welcoming. He made the check-in process seamless and even prepared the apartment before the check-in time. He provided us with a curated list of attractions to explore and recommended his favorite local restaurants—away from the typical tourist spots. When we accidentally locked our key inside the apartment, Raúl came to our rescue within 15 minutes, even though it was a Sunday. I truly felt sorry for disturbing him, but his willingness to help was greatly appreciated. Overall, our stay was wonderful—relaxing and comfortable. I only wish we had stayed longer! I highly recommend this place—easily one of the best accommodations we’ve ever experienced.
