Nothing, if anything the aircon could be a be a little cooler in the warmer months.

The staff are exceptionally helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is perfect. We travel to Barcelona a few times a year and recently decided to try the Alexandra instead of our previous hotel. Needless to say the Alexandra is our new favourite. Love the vibe of the pool. Perfect for a morning of relaxation before hitting the sites or shops.

Granted we stayed in August but even set at lowest temps the room was warm to sleep in at night. We weren’t there during that day so not sure if that was consistent but cooler at night would be nice.

The restaurants did not offer any vegetarian food. It was all meat based dishes. The hotel should adapt to modern outlook towards food.

We had a lovely stay at Alexandra Barcelona Hotel. The staff at reception and in the bar/restaurant were lovely and very friendly. We received a free upgrade on arrival and our room was beautiful. We also really liked the location of this hotel.

The location was perfect! Really centric. The room was really clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the 'solomillo' restaurant on the ground floor, the food was amazing. Also, the stuff was really friendly. They made us feel at home :)

A few small things, but overall they didn’t detract from our stay too much: While the room was clean, we couldn’t help but wonder the last time it had been deep cleaned. The curtains and out of reach surfaces seemed a little dusty. The walls were thin - while we surprisingly didn’t hear any street noise we could hear someone cough next door or quiet footsteps above us. The shower/tub combo was a high step up and little dangerous, we almost tripped a couple of times. The room felt a little dark, between the decor and the one window. But I think that’s the ambiance they’re going for. The Smart TV wasn’t connected to the internet, not a big deal at all but I wasted a good 30 minutes trying to download the app to stream something 😂

Location is wonderful! Very walkable, just a couple blocks from the metro or bus stops. Nice restaurants and shops just nearby. Overall the room was comfortable and the bed was heavenly. Also, despite being in a busy area we couldn’t hear any street noise. The staff were very attentive, always greeting us. And we appreciated the free welcome drink!
