The reception staff were rude especially the gentleman. We thought restaurant was expensive for dinner and breakfast. We did not see many people eating in there. There were some great bars and places to eat in town

Great location. We had a budget room which was fine but not really any outside space. It was also down a lot of stairs and near the road. The pool was excellent.

This is our second visit to the Alcadima Hotel in stunning and very clean. I would highly recommend, it is tranquil and quaint the perfect break to switch off and unwind.

Plug missing from the bathroom sink

Nothing. Everything was lovely.

Our room was lovely with a balcony and view of the mountains. The swimming pool was wonderful. Large and had sun loungers with sun umbrellas around 3 sides. The restaurant was exceptional. We ate in the restaurant both nights that we stayed. The menu was different each day and you could have a starter, main and dessert for 24Euros which was extremely good value. The hotel had great character too.

We arrived during a holiday period and the parking was horrendous- we parked a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The reception staff were diffident and didn’t particularly make us feel welcome.

The hotel was lovely, from the room, with a lovely balcony and stunning view. Pool was good and the restaurant served a delightful selection of food. Lovely cool areas to sit in. Had a wonderful stay.

The safe didnt work. Some mould in the bathroom on tiles and ceiling.

Everything. The room was a good size with a bedroom, sitting area and balcony with a view of the mountains and the swimming pool. The restaurant was exceptional. We ate in the restaurant, the cafeteria and in the bar and on every occasion the food and drinks were excellent. The menu del dia changed every day, was excellent value 24 euros which included starter, main course and dessert. The wine was also extremely reasonable 30 euros. The pool was 20m long and had plenty of loungers.

Keycard issues - Despite following advice from staff (ensuring they were kept away from phones and anything else that might have stopped them working) these frequently needed re-programming. This can be annoying given the distance between some rooms and Reception.

The grounds, layout, garden and views were fantastic, as was the pool The service was professional, courteous and helpful. Everything seemed exceptionally well-run, with high levels of attention to detail and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant and bar services were great too, with good selections of food and drink available throughout the day.

The bathtub is small. The room is a little dim.

The room is spacious. The bed is comfortable. Towels and bath towels are rather good. The hotel is well decorated. There is a very beautiful garden. The view is amazing: mountain, garden, swimming pool.

A lot of stairs (if you have mobility issues) but there is a lift.

Lovely quirky building in a quiet yet central part of town. Beautiful gardens and grounds. Nice restaurant with cosy real fire. Tea and coffee facilities in the room.

The only food is pizza delivery, which was ok with us as we knew prior to arrival.

An oasis as we did not want to stay in a city. The staff are beautiful, the location quiet and tranquil.

Drop off area a bit cramped while checking in before directed to car park.
