Clean and designed very well. I really enjoyed my stay as pilgrim. Owners are pilgrims themselves and very passionate I providing good experiences for guests. Also liked that I was able to drop off my bag before checking in.

Check in. Problems with the App I had not encountered.

After the shock of being told you couldn't take the bags into the room, but had a locker to leave them in - any articles you needed in the room were to be put in a tray that could be taken in - I soon realised the logic of this after countless early mornings of serial zippings and rustlings of pilgrims packing their bags at ungodly hours. Bathrooms, (towels and shower gel provided) and kitchen spotless, hosts on hand when needed, but not in your hair. True the check-in App did not seem to be working as it should, but all in all, would highly recommend.

The only downside was that the check-in process was a bit slow.

I really enjoyed my stay at the property. The surroundings were beautiful, everything was very clean, and the facilities were excellent. The staff were also very kind and helpful. I especially appreciated the café with a small shop in the basement, which was open even during the holiday.

It was obvious that this is run by someone who has walked a camino and knows what pilgrims need. It’s spotlessly clean and great facilities. The owner is a great guy, so friendly and helpful and keeps the place looking amazing. We had a room with only 2 bunks which was brilliant. Easy to find right on the camino.

Very well organised. You get cotton sheets and a towel. In the bathroom there were some products as shampoo, suncream. In the kitchen oil, pepper and salt... There is place to wash and dry your clothes. The place is a bit outside the city center but you can walk perfectly (safe area) and it's calm in the night. The owners are pelgrims too. They know what a pelgrim appreciates.

There is nothing which could have been better.

The hostel is on the camino. It's very close to the center of the city but not in the heart of the city - I liked this, because in Santiago de Compostela at the end of july, when I was there, the city center was crowded and I was happy to stay at a place which is calm. Just around the corner is a supermarket and also an ATM is quite near. I had lunch at "Taperia 2 eles", I really liked the food and the restaurant - it's close to the hostel. The owner of the hostel takes care about the hostel: Everything is clean and organised. The team of the hostel is also very friendly.

Check in was fast and easy. Mr Agosto was very friendly and helpful. Overall the albergue was very clean, neat and tidy. This albergue is right along the camino route and was very exciting to see the many pilgrims making their way to the cathedral :)

It was a quite a distance from the Cathedral (15 minute walk), but after walking over 500 miles , it was not a deal breaker .

The site is so well apportioned and accommodating for the pilgrim. No surprise given that the host is a pilgrim himself, and clearly designed and manages a facility with pilgrims’ needs in mind. Exceptionally clean rooms that are logically separated by utility (e.g., laundry, storage, eating) to allow for a secure, pleasant, and restful stay. The host is so welcoming and kind. He sets the tone for a welcoming stay, and is onsite much of the time to ensure daily operations are run smoothly.
