Shower was a bit dirty and rusty but did the job. Not a deal breaker.

Very cozy and comfortable environment! Great value and good, simple breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Just know that this is a rustic albergue. Simple amenities and no air conditioning although it was cool up in the mountains even in August. Would definitely recommend. We stayed two nights with our daughters ages 9 and 11. Pool and pool bar were a hit! Easy 10-15 min walk into Potes.

The insulation of the rooms isn't great so you can hear the neighbors if they are not very quiet.

Great location and a big room with a beautiful view! Very quiet location. The water in the shower had a lot of pressure and was very warm. There is a communal kitchen, well equipped. The staff is very friendly.

Spotlessly clean, pleasantly quiet and very warm. The buffet breakfast was good, offering: cheese, ham, fresh bread, jam, cereals, milk, yogurt, orange juice, fresh fruit (oranges and bananas), plus cake and cookies. Excellent value for the price

Fabulous location with the most spectacular views and easy access to walking and tourist activities in the area. Swimming pool was good and the staff managed the location very well. It was always clean and there was someone to help with queries.

Was a timber chalet style place with alpine feel which we enjoyed but it is a bit tired, especially the bathroom. Lodge was fairly empty so can't comment on noise through the walls.

Parking was great, kitchen was great. Good value for money beautiful location a little way from town but we were lazy and drove into town and found parking ok. It would be walkable tho. Road out to potes is so beautiful but allow plenty of time as there are some MAJOR roadworks on the road to the north, but very scenic road so roadwork waits were pleasant time to enjoy the environs. We had a lovely view over the fields from our room.

The bathrooms are starting to look a bit tired and needing an update, although everything was fully functional.

Really nice staff. Very good atmosphere. Some guests a bit too noisy but nothing to do with the hostel. They provided towels and bed sheets and blankets/dubets. Choice of including breakfast. Kitchen equiped for your own food to prepare yourself and nice clean an tody comunal areas.

Perfect location within walking distance of Potes. The room was really spacious and kept out the heat. Pool was a great addition! Great having the cooking facilities

The quality of the breakfast was poor with basic quality white bread and bad coffee . Also why in this day and age of environmental awareness do so many places persist in serving butter and spreads in vile little disposable plastic packets? This must stop !

It was simple clean and straightforward with a peaceful atmosphere and excellent position looking out over the beautiful liebana valley and the Picos beyond. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Very old and uncared for, Many things broken.We were told there was a bidet in the bathroom but no ! Too many staff.Charged 5 euros for breakfast when it was supposed to be included.Walls very thin heard people in next rooms conversation.Very cold and damp.Only got one towel each. Only a bare lightbulb.No bedside lights, no TV.

The rooms and bathrooms were quite old and the time has come to do some up-to-date work.

Overall, a good place to stay on a low budget trip. Located in the heart of Cantabria, between Potes and Picos de Europa, this place seemed perfect for our weekend getaway. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave us advice on places to visit during our stay. Breakfast was simple but okay. The hostel is a bit old and unfortunately the room had a strong musty smell which made our stay less comfortable.
