How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We booked a room with two normal bed, but we got a room with bunk bed. The sink was leaking.
Easy parking on the street, the city centrum 30min walk. Minimal, but OK breakfast. Big rooms with AC.

It took half an hour to book in. I was charged twice and was woken up at 10pm to rectify the problem.

Wifi didn't work without a Spanish phone number. Location is in a car-choked unwalkable part of the city, a 30 minute walk from the old historic center.
Rooms were clean and peaceful and quiet. Free breakfast. Close to Plaza España. Staff were friendly.

Reasonable accommodation compared to the category, even at its upper level. It is in the area of the university campus, many students and the atmosphere as a result, without being disturbing, on the contrary, pleasant. It is not right in the center of the city, but you can go to the tourist attractions in about 30-40 minutes on foot or by means of public transport that runs well. The room reminded me of the student rooms, big enough and reasonably clean, and the breakfast, minimal, in a student canteen. We documented ourselves in advance from the reviews, we calibrated our expectations at this level and we were not disappointed, on the contrary, it was a very pleasant stay.

We were unable to connect to the wifi since the gateway asked to provide a local number that would receive a SMS code. Tried contacting Interjoven customer service but they didn't get back to me on a solution. Also didn't get a chance to ask the hotel staff during our stay. I would also highly suggest they offer a vegetarian/halal-friendly protein option in the breakfast spread (even just boiled eggs would've been nice) as just breads/cereal/fruit was a little underwhelming.
We were pleasantly surprised at our stay at Albergue Interjoven in Seville. Our 2-night stay included breakfast and we chose to pay for their private parking, though the location is in a safe area where we could've parked on the street as well. It was easy for us to get to and from the hotel from the local attractions as there were taxi stops within walking distance. The hotel staff was so nice and helpful. It was our first time staying at a hotel like this that felt closer to a dorm, but seeing how many families especially with young children that were there gave us confidence we made the right choice.

It s a safe and clean hostel, a little outside the city center, with good bus connection though,in a nice neighborhood. The private room was spacious for one to two people. Basic furniture,clean bathroom,basic breakfast.Very nice staff.Its not a party or social hostel.After 23.00 it was quiet.

There was alot of noise late at night but we didn't mind too much as we understand it is a different culture to ours and the location was perfect for students.
Staff were super friendly regardless of the language barrier. The location is great. The shared balcony was perfect for our family. It was fantastic!

The hotel is locked by a metal door which I could not open very easy. I had to ask the receptionist to show me how to use the button. The beds were not very comfortable and we had to make them (put the sheets on before getting to sleep) by ourselves. The room was noisy from the street and we could not sleep very well. Plenty of football students staying at the hostel were also noisy.
It was basic hotel for a good price with breakfast. There are plenty of free parking spots in front of the hotel. The breakfast was basic but nice. It had fruits and vegetables.

The breakfast could have bananas. The coordinator/manager should request the guests to keep the silence. There were young boys and girls making too much noise at the corridor. They kept running and playing after 10pm at the corridor.

Good location to explore Sewilla and take a walk along the river. Room had a nice balcony on quiet place.
