Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Incredible location with stunning views. The property felt super exclusive, with more facilities than there were guests. Very attentive hosts.

AustraliaYes the drive up is challenging - however it’s totally doable and just requires you to concentrate. Once you’ve done it once it gets easier. Old building means sound from upstairs (feet etc) travels so woke us in the mornings, but honestly a non issue as the whole place was otherwise tranquil and quiet.
Beautiful, so peaceful and quiet. It was so tempting to stay here all day lounging in the hammock with a book, or by the pool. The staff are SO warm and welcoming - our plane was delayed by 3+ hours and they accommodated us with a late check in and prepared the best grazing board for us to enjoy in our room even though their restaurant was closing. We were so grateful. Food at the restaurant was delicious and one of our better meals in Majorca. We had the best best time!

FranceOnly “negative” thing we have to say is about the road up to the hotel, but once you’ve done it you know what to expect and you can do it again. Service at the restaurant was also a bit long on our first night at the hotel despite us being the only people in the restaurant!
Amazing hotel with breathtaking views! As people have said in the comments before, the road to the hotel is very narrow and uphill, so I wouldn’t recommend a big car. We had a Fiat 500, which was perfect size-wise, but it was still a bit tricky. But once you’re up there, the view is just beautiful. The pool is great, the surroundings very peaceful and the hotel is picturesque. The food at the restaurant was also very good and not too pricy! Room was good, spacious, and the bathroom seemed freshly renovated.

NetherlandsThe place is located remotely which we really enjoyed, but would plan our days so we wouldn't have to venture up and down the road to the hotel multiple times in a day
The staff were absolutely lovely and so attentive. They gave us great local's recommendation. We also really enjoyed the breakfasts and then pasta lunches by the pool. Overall a lovely location with a family feel.

AustraliaThe access road and the lack of facial tissues (Kleenex).
The staff were exceptionally efficient and nice. The location is idyllic in spite of the difficult access road. The pool and the common areas are pleasant. The room very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast and the variety of the menu was excellent.

SpainThe pool is very slippery, I fell getting in. You really need to add something to the steps as this is a big danger!
The views were amazing! Loved how we were away from the hustle and bustle but could go down to it when we wanted to. Not a bad free breakfast either! Restaurant was lovely as well. Such nice staff! So happy to have had AC as well.

CanadaWished we stayed longer. Hoped we knew about the hiking path ahead of time.
The location overlooking Port de Soller was magical. The Finca was something out of a movie set. The mountain in the background, the grove plantation, the hiking path... all in a mountainous setting was both picturesque and adventurous.

United KingdomNothing, the restaurant was closed one night but they transferred us up and down the mountain road to Port Soller for free so we didn’t have to book a taxi or walk back up after too much wine
Everything. From the moment we arrived and the next few hours saying “wow”! So much birdsong, no street lights, panoramic views, beautiful and historic building, clean spacious apartment with 4 star luxury, the most pleasant, welcoming and caring staff, family run with love, traditional authentic Mallorcan meals at the restaurant on a night (we are their 3 consecutive nights and had list of vegetarian choices, we didn’t need to have the same thing twice), generous breakfasts in main house (they offer picnics to take if you are trekking early), donkeys, goats and sheep for neighbours, bird watching paradise, star gazing heaven and on the GR221 walking route. Absolutely amazing place!

NorwayThe hotel is located in a perfect place where you can swim in the swimming pool while listening to the birds singing. There are cute donkeys nearby the swimming pool and you can also see port de soller in front you while sunbathing. Staff working in the hotel are friendly and they make you feel like you are at home :) food was perfect both the breakfast and dinner. :)

United Statesonly thing was the beds were firm - if you like a firm bed then this place is a dream. I still enjoyed waking up to views of the ocean and mountains regardless of the bed :)
It was private, exclusive, beautiful olive trees, cats, sheep, and donkeys all around. Overlooking the port but not in the port at all - so special.
