Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe location was amazing.! 5 minute walk to the beach and a couple of mins walk to the supermarket and restaurants. The villa itself was absolutely lovely and had everything you needed. We did hire a car as it was the best way to see the island.

This was the best place we have ever stayed. If I could give it more than 10 I would. Everything we could have asked for and more. Wonderful host, plenty of kitchen equipment for a family, clean sheets and towels half way through our stay, washing machine, tumble dryer and liquid wash provided, pool cleaned out during stay, pool toys, TV, two lovely bathrooms, comfy beds, the list goes on……..

United KingdomWasn’t really as wheel chair friendly as I thought from the description which is the main reason I’d booked. It also wasn’t as close to the many restaurants as I’d thought and there was a lot of steps unless you took the longer way round. As it happened my father was unable to come due to being in hospital but he’d have not managed had he been able to come.
It was very spacious and well equipped. The pool was a good size and plenty of seating / sun beds.

United KingdomBeautiful villa Ana is in a great location, merely a few minutes walk to the beautiful beach (with its soft sand and crystal clear water), the supermarket, and a local restaurant (Bella Napoli… many others are a little further away atop of the beach) . All aspects of the villa; interior, exterior, pool, bathrooms, kitchen, living room and bedrooms are well equipped and spotless. Toni is a marvellous host, nothing is too much trouble as he genuinely wants you to have a great experience and for you to enjoy your vacation. If you don’t have a car, Bus Stop 4 is also close by, from there you can explore the island inexpensively and reliably. From this stop we visited; Mahon, Cuitadella, Es Mercadal and even Binibeca for a few euros each way.

Villa Ana was a perfect villa for our stay in Menorca as a couple with our 2 year old. The villa had everything we needed to feel like home and the location was perfect with only a 5min walk to the beach, shop and local restaurants. The main beach has a flat boardwalk around the whole beach making it buggy accessible which was a great plus. Toni was also a fantastic host - he met us at the villa despite arriving at 10pm and everything had been set up for our toddler ready including milk in the fridge. Toni also allowed us to stay past the check out time so we could nap our toddler before our evening flight. We had an issue with the dishwasher at one point however Toni arrived very quickly to fix this for us. All rooms were either air conditioned and/or had fans which even in May was needed and kept the villa perfectly cool especially for our toddler. The pool was also a great plus which we used every day. I would definitely recommend Villa Ana to anyone wishing to stay in Menorca and we would love to come back.

United KingdomEverything was great but we got a few mosquito bites when we sat out in the evening.
This was a most beautiful villa with plenty of room for ourselves and our grown up children and their partners. We loved the pool, the outdoor eating area and the quiet location which was convenient to the beach. It was very hot throughout our visit and we really appreciated to air conditioning in the bedrooms! Toni the owner met us on arrival and showed us around. Every comfort was provided. A great holiday.

United KingdomThe single bedroom is not air conditioned.
The property is spacious and comfortable and was ideal for our family of 5 adults and two very young children. The kitchen is well appointed and the separate utility with new washing machine and tumble dryer was very useful. Off-road parking on the drive with an awning for shade. The pool area is spacious, plenty of room for the sunbeds, and beach towels are provided. The pool itself is excellent, large enough and deep enough for a decent swim. The large patio accessed from the living room is an excellent family space with a large dining table and is separated from the pool by a railing which makes supervision of children so much easier. The columned portico provides ample shade and can be extended by sizeable awnings during the middle of the day. Villa Ana is in a quiet residential area but is only 10 minutes walk from the beach. The host, Toni, called soon after we arrived to show us the property and was very helpful and friendly and of course had a wealth of local knowledge.

United KingdomOne very small snag: there is a lot of villa construction going on at present in this beautiful area which did tend to cause some noise. It won't last for ever though, I'm sure.
Lovely villa, fully and beautifully equipped with everything needed for a super holiday set in a very peaceful unspoiled area of the island. Lots of thoughtful touches;Tony was a very good host and pointed out many places to visit. Our family had a wonderful time in the swimming pool and on the beach, which is perfect for small children..

SpainThis Villa is advertised as wheelchair friendly, which was the prime reason for booking it. It clearly is not. It was impossible to get a standard self propelled wheelchair in either of the bathrooms! The owner quickly provided a commode on wheels to allow my wife to get in to a bathroom, but far from ideal. Once in the bathroom, it was still impossible to use the shower, as the entrance to the shower was too narrow. There is also a step down from the dining area in to the lounge area, as well as the raised door runner to get over, and a step to go down to gain access to the terrace. There are also three steps to get up, to the front door. Temporary ramps would have helped. This property clearly is not suitable for a wheelchair user. Hopefully the owner will address these problems. Very disappointed, to say the least, regarding this aspect. I have messaged the owner regarding these difficulties prior to writing this report, but have not received a response.
The location was perfect. Nice quiet location. The Villa itself was lovely and very well equipped.
