maybe a bathroom blind ...however room was at the back of the hotel . Is difficult to fault in anyway, it was so good .

Gorgeous small hotel with lovely rooms , ours had a front and back terrace overlooking amazing gardens . Lovely bathroom with nice toiletries . Pool area was very peaceful , felt like you were miles away ! Breakfast was amazing ! Lovely breads , cakes , fruit , yoghurt and granola , juices as well as meats and cheeses ! A short flat stroll from the beautiful village of Peratallada with many dining options. Joanna was super helpful , a lovely host , thank you for all restaurant bookings and your care ! Highly recommended.

The hotel looks a bit more tired compared to the photos, both in the common areas and the rooms. It’s nothing major, but we did feel the price was a bit high for the current condition. Also, the Wi-Fi doesn’t cover all areas equally. This wouldn’t be a problem for most travelers, but it was a bit tricky for us since we had two video calls at the same time in the morning and had to be in different spots to attend simultaneously. That said, the Wi-Fi in the room worked perfectly.

We stayed for just one night as we were attending a friend’s wedding nearby, and Hotel Aautu was perfectly located for the event. The place is absolutely charming – surrounded by nature, with beautiful gardens, colorful flowers, and birds singing in the morning 😍 It felt peaceful and relaxing. Joanna, the manager, was incredibly kind and thoughtful. She really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and shared helpful tips about the area. The breakfast was also very good. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful and peaceful - an ideal retreat. Peratallada is beautiful and you can stroll along a country lane to the village from the hotel. Rooms open onto beautiful gardens, a lovely breakfast and there’s a gorgeous pool area. Exceeded our expectations - we’ll definitely come back. Joanna was such a lovely and friendly host as well, muchas gracias! :) Emma

Road a little rough going in .

Joanna the owner was absolutely superb- she couldn’t do enough for you. Good location just out of the village but within walking distance to at least 15 restaurants. She recommended 2 which were excellent. Definitely recommend if in this beautiful area- hopefully back again. Thanks Joanna

The hostess, Johanna, the location and breakfast were all outstanding! Johanna was super helpful, gave us great suggestions on places to eat and has a super personality! It is a 10 minute walk through scenic farm land to the beautiful town of Peratallada.

This is by no means the hotel's fault, but ours. Had we known the cost of taxis, how far things were, we would have rented a car. The hotel was very accommodating in helping us book taxis to pick us up and when they were unavailable went above and beyond to make sure we made it to where we needed to go on time. Anyone thinking of travelling, should consider renting a car.

This was a great hotel. The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to welcome us to their hotel. THe adults only allowed for a quiet place of relaxation and you are only a short walk away from the quaint medival town. The pool was beautiful and private and the rooms were wonderful and provided everything we needed for our short stay.

It was a beautiful property with a lovely swimming pool. The room was very well equipped and comfortable and had a little terrace giving on to the garden and pool. The breakfast was delicious and generous. But the best part was the lovely manager Johanna. She was so kind and helpful -with a sense of humour. We would highly recommend the hotel.

Totally beyond the hotels control - a dairy farm fairly close by which at certain times, meant there were flies about near the pool area.

breakfast was faultless. Great coffee, lovely selection of cheese, ham, yoghurts, tomatoes, fruit, cakes, breads etc. also lovely bacon sausages and eggs on offer, as you like them, every day. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much for them and very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The gardens and pools areas were very well tended and the location was a quiet track off the quiet road leading to Peratallada. Ideal location between mountains, Girona city and the coast!

There wasn’t a lift to the 1st floor and my travelling companion had trouble getting up steps but Joanna our host was fantastic and accommodated us on the ground floor

Bimba the faithful dog (and Aatu hotel police) also brightened up our stay at Aatu. quality breakfast too and generally lovely grounds and a well kept garden. definitely recommend!
