The bathroom had a bad smell (plumbing issue) that affected the bedroom as well.. I only stayed one night so I didn’t request a change but I’m sure the staff would have accommodated our request had we chosen to move. We went the following weekend and the staff generously upgraded us from a chalet fo a beautiful suite which more than made up for the previous weekend Also, the beach has too many rocks

Everything was exceptional From Reception, Restaurant, room service and Beach/pool service. Special thanks to Nuha Guest relations. The suite was amazing. Good choice of restaurant music and good poolside DJ. Good distances between beach, pool, suite, and restaurant. Attentive lifeguards given the dangerous waters. The food options could be more diverse especially in lunch and dinner and the taste could be improved in some dishes. The hotel has little activities.

Too much security checks before you reach the hotel. If you don't have your own car, u won't be able to leave your hotel. The place is located next to the presidential palace, which is why there was a high alert of security. The hotel is too quiet for families with kids, u must be on half board or all inclusive as you won't be able to buy any cheap food there. Spa was overpriced.

Friendly staff, clean, newly decorated, luxury rooms, quiet hotel, I would say it is more suitable for adults with no kids. Massive pool, beautiful view, lovely shore. We were able to use the Gewan resort facilities for free, which was a massive positive point, as they had a water park, a calmer sea, and many pools, plus Gewan Resort had a good variety of food to purchase if you went with breakfast only in the Gewan palace. The palace had a massive gym, with brand new equipment.

The only issue i had was the location and the uber took some time to reach u can only solve this pb if u arrange a private car with a driver or if the concierge arrange a car for u ahead

I can only call it a palace the property is amazing the rooms and premises are nothing less than luxury . We had the chance to stay in an apartment on the GF with direct access to the pool . The pool is huge with a bar all day music was playing with a live DJ . The staff were amazing especially Nuha the guest relations in charge she was helping us from the time we made our reservation until the day of check . She is an amazing member of Gewan . We had the chance to meet the GM mr hossam as well he was so welcoming and helpful. They have a lebanese chef Ali he prepared for us some amazing food . The beach is turquoise and the sand is very clean .

The hospitality was beyond expectations. Nuha from guest relations was so nice and upgraded our room to very very convenient suite

The only downside was that a few times we had to call maintenance, and the response was slower than we hoped.

We had a wonderful family stay at this hotel and enjoyed every moment. The facilities were excellent, and the beach was beautiful. Though it has some small rocks in the water, it was no issue for us, as we came prepared with beach shoes. What truly made our experience special was the staff. Nuha from guest relations gave us a warm welcome and support throughout our stay, while Chef Ali went the extra mile to personally take care of our son’s allergy needs. Every morning, he prepared delicious gluten-free breakfast meals, which gave us peace of mind and made our family feel truly cared for. The beach safety guards, and the entire hotel team also contributed to a safe and pleasant atmosphere. We left with special moments and great memories, and we are already planning our next vacation here. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, care, and unforgettable hospitality.

It is difficult to reach the hotel , lots of police points before reaching hotels, and lots of taxis . Uber refused to pick up
