One thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the hallways and reception area – these shared spaces would benefit from more frequent and thorough cleaning. The room itself was very clean and well maintained, but from my personal point of view, the overall impression would be even better if the common areas matched the same standard.

I had a pleasant stay at Africana Hotel & Spa. The peaceful atmosphere and the comfort of the room made a big difference. Everything was clean, spacious, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and responsive. Breakfast was good, but there is room for improvement – a bit more variety and fresh options would make it even better. The hotel is located in a quiet area, which is perfect for resting, although a bit far from the city center – but this can be an advantage, depending on what you're looking for. Our request for adjacent rooms was honored, which we appreciated. Overall, a great price-quality ratio, and I would gladly return or recommend it to other travelers.I would also like to express my appreciation for Shireen, a remarkable person I first met at this hotel 4-5 years ago. She is truly dedicated and deeply involved in her work, and it was a pleasure to see her again. The airport transfer was well organized and offered at a fair price ( 600 egp), which we greatly appreciated.

Iron in the room was available in the past but now it's replaced by paid laundry and ironing service . I hope.to make it available again upon request .

Africana Hotel is the best I've been, really my favorite hotel. I have to come to Alex time to time cause of business and the hotel has always the best manners. Ms Shireen and Mr Asharaf are the best managers, giving assitance and solutions to any problem, internal or externals. I consider them as my friends. Thank for all the attentions!

suite is well designed and furnished with comfortable and no noise setup. Staff are super friendly and helpful. we ordered from " Room dine-in and all cheif recommendations were delicious & portions were alot. both bathroom & jacozy were clean & good space. for sure free safe parking

Nothing except the seats inside the hotel resto-caffee should be more comfortable but still the available ones are acceptable .

Everything was perfect and in it's place . Staff are amazing . Lights , pools , gardens , plants and trees were all beautiful . Food taste and quality were top . I loved the place .

Only 1 situation, door lock battery was low my keycard cannot open, I reported the reception twice for changing the battery, delay happened but at the end they did it

i cant think of anything negative to say about the hotel. i liked everything about the hotel perhaps people who come to stay with kids to offer extensive activities for children.

Staff were polite and friendly with English speakers at the reception. They were very organised and pay attention to detail.The hotel was very tidy and clean. The hotel is not overcrowded. There was a great food variety with very large food portions being enough to feed three people. The gym facility is great with up to to date machinery. I would rate this hotel 5/5 for all the services.

Very cooperative staff in all departments . Perfect spacious room with great interior design . Great swimming pools. Green Landscaping is superb reflecting its Africana name .Delicious varieties of dishes in both breakfast and dinner. General cleanliness.

A large hotel located a little off the beaten track but relatively close to the airport, taxi from the airport 15$. Large rooms with a balcony, comfortable beds. Huge garden with swimming pool. Typical Egyptian breakfast.
