The room itself was disappointing. The fridge was noisy, the shower was uncomfortably small, and the toilet had some functional issues. These things definitely affected the overall comfort of the stay.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, offering a beautiful setting right by the sea. One of the highlights was enjoying breakfast with a sea view, a great start to the day with a decent variety of options.

The view in our room was a brick wall. Not very pleasant.

Beautiful place for sun and relaxation, right next to dive centre and on the seafront. Great restaurant with good breakfast. A little far from the main town centre but an easy walk and we preferred the quieter area. Staff were fabulous, they moved us to poolside room at our request, perfect! We will be back 😎

No access to beach despite beachfront

Shower is TINY, and the beds are not great. Room is a decent size with a nice patio. There was a loud rave at the hotel bar one night until 2am which made sleeping a wee bit tough that night.

It’s not the ritz & it doesn’t pretend to be which again I loved. The only thing that was a bit of a problem was the erratic internet connection however this is not unusual in Dahab.

The staff were amazing, from Ahmed at the check in desk who was super helpful with contacting tour operators & taking care of any requests to the bar/restaurant staff who were always happy to go the extra mile. There was a party at the restaurant/bar which the hotel made me aware of. It turned out to be an amazing night with music shut down at a reasonable time for hotel guests. The hotel is exactly what it advertises to be, no fancy frills at a very reasonable price, clean & in a great location. The restaurant is on the sea (there are no beaches as such in most of Dahab) but it was great to sit having food & drinks right on the water.

The wifi in the rooms could be quite intermittent which could be a bit frustrating. The shower was also a bit basic but this wasn’t a major issue.

I arrived in the evening and was pleasantly surprised to find out that my room had been upgraded free of charge. I also extended my stay by two nights and was allowed to keep paying the same rate which was very kind of the Acacia team. All the staff were super friendly and the hotel was kept very clean. The Egyptian breakfast was good and very filling! The hotel was located in a quieter area of town, near a few dive shops and a short walk to the main strip.

Other guests playing loud music around the pool made it difficult to relax. Perhaps there should be a rule around this as I witnessed heated arguments between other guests over this.

Lovely hotel, very clean, nice pool and delicious breakfast. Busy street outside but super quiet and relaxing once inside.
