The small double room is really a single room with a double bed. So if you're travelling as a couple with a pet and 1 suitcase, you will be short of space. The decor is quite outdated, and this is reflected in the facilities and (to an extent) comfort. There's no lift, so if you get a room on the top floor, carrying suitcases is a real workout. Having said that, we appreciate it's an old building with quite a bit of history to it.

Old charm hotel. Like traveling back in time. Wonderful breakfast and dinning room. Good selection of food. The hotel atmosphere invites you to slow down. Excellent location for traveling by public transport. Easy to get everywhere. Not for those who are looking for a modern renovated place to stay. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

The proportions of the room were inconvenient. As we stayed several nights, we needed better storage for our luggage. Also, the furnishings looked tired.

The breakfast was excellent, the hotel location is very central, but also across a park. It was possible to park next to the hotel (for a fee). The indoor restaurant is attractive and there is outdoor seating

Decoration in our room was very dated. I understand that hotel wants to keep up the old fashion look but some of the furniture like sofa and curtains looked that they have not been updated or changed since the 80s.

Location! Good breakfast with very nice and spacious seating area, no matter what time we arrived to the breakfast we always had very nice seating area waiting for us and all the food and drinks were topped up.

The room was very small and could use a refresher - carpets and bathroom facilities, especially, but was very clean.

The hotel is a lovely older property in a great location. The room was quiet and looked out over a beautiful part of the neighborhood. The breakfast included in the price was of the kind common in older hotels in Northern Europe - lots of choices, very fresh and beautifully presented, with lots of excellent coffee. The breakfast room was a nice spot and conducive to meeting and conversing with other guests, which, in our case, included a cheery fellow traveler who brightened our stay.

This is a really cute hotel. It is clean with comfortable beds. The room was a decent size with a lounge and desk. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again.

No aircon.

Perfect location. Near the bus station and all the shops. There’s a park across the road. We had a massive corner room. The style is older but it’s lovely. Very comfortable. Staff are very helpful. Local bike hire company delivers to the hotel. just ask at reception. €9 for 6hrs. (chess as per for less hrs). Breakfast was good.

Old school, shabby chic vibe. The room was rather noisy-- you could hear neighbors, cars on the street, and bass coming from somewhere. No free parking.

Windows were drafty (it was winter) and there was a little noise from the street ( weekend). I assume it can be louder in the summer.

I may have more things in my fridge than this hotel had at their breakfast table. Ive been in 3 times cheaper hostels that had a better breakfast. Hotel is decent and clean but a bit tired.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We had some booking issues due to our own fault but the staff sorted it out quickly without any issues. Interesting historical hotel, good choice for anyone who is interested in hotels with a long interesting history.

Parking is problematic. My bedside lamp didn’t work and when I mentioned it, I was told they’d “tell the cleaners” so presumably the next guest wouldn’t have a problem.
