How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Great location, next to the park and close to the sea. Peace and quiet. Outside the hotel there is a park fitness with great equipment. In the park there are playground fro kids and a nice beach is not too far away (a walk through the park). We only stayed for a night but could easily spoil ourselves for few days. The restuartant in the hotel (Kuu) is a great place to have a delicious dinner for an acceptable price. Very nice personnel in the hotel and the restaurant itself.

The room did not have air conditioning and the ventilation was poor, which made it very hot inside. The room layout felt unusual and not very convenient – the shower was in a separate room from the toilet and sink, which was uncomfortable. The hotel windows were quite dirty and had a lot of spiders around them. At breakfast, it would be great to have more tables available, as there were not enough seats for all guests.
The location was excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the Old Town. Breakfast was sufficient with a nice selection of food. The staff seemed very friendly and welcoming.

If you want hairdryer, it needs to be asked at the reception. Other than that, all was great!

Parking now is extra charge 10 eur. Rooms are getting oldish and worn out. You can see mold on the balcony's ceiling.
It is a nice , large hotel with spa and great location. Breakfast is good, with plenty of selection. Beds are comfortable.

Nice room, but the balcony door was “blocked” by a huge spider network. Also was a bit too hot at the room. In the morning was really cold at the breakfast restaurant.
Only 15 min walk from the bus station through one of the most beautiful Estonian towns. Really nice park behind the hotel, SPA was good also.

Booked a suite, no aircon during a hot spell so needed to downgrade to a normal room (no refund)

One of the two hotel rooms wasn’t cleaned when we got there, but we got another one right away, which unfortunately was quite far away. Breakfast poor regarding dietary restrictions, especially vegan options (only vegan milk - no yoghurt or cheese), the gluten free section included some slices of dry bread, digestive cookies and chocolate and corn cereal. The worst thing was the tiny parking lot, which you paid for, but rarely got a spot on, forcing you to pay extra money for parking on the street.
Excellent location, comfortable beds, pool area quite small but with interesting saunas (which were very nice on one of the many rainy and windy days).

Wifi was blocked for internet TV Elisa so we could not watch tv programs from wifi. Mobile worked but is expensive. Bar did not allow beer with glasses to hotel room.
Treatments were very fine - mudbath and nails. Swimming pool was nice not overcrowded and saunas were also good, especially liked japanese hot bath 41C. Area around hotel had several routes for brisk walk. Bicycle rent nearby.

There was a problem to get a coffee at the canteen because there only are two coffee machines for so many people, therefore there were large queues.
It is perfectly located, but it's better to come in warner time. We absolutely loved the spa although some people just don't understand what relaxation means.

It was dark in the spa area. And the spa bar tender was always away. Had no room service in three days of stay.
Location is good, fair price, parking, a lot of facilities/spa. Friendly staff. We were given a baby bed with no charge, even we didnt ask for it.

On my hotel wing at the floor, there were guest speaking loud and talking , in particular during break times and in the evening. The walls are as well very light - listening.
The reception was polite, spa service and facilities nice. Breakfast exceeded my expectations (sparkling wine). And a very good massage. The outdoor was ok. closed to park and Baltic sea.
