How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewVery cozy little villa hotel close to the beach. Not much staff around but those we met were kind and helpful. Nice sized rooms and good AC. Breakfast was great and you were able to sit outside. The heated pool was a nice little extra.
Limited parking space onsite, we had to park on the street and got a fine although there were no signs regarding parking rules anywhere on that street. The balcony is shared with everyone, we thought we would have our own balcony. The hotel is right next to Pärnu main sports arena so might get a bit noisy if there happens to be a football game when you are there (as there was for us).

Verified reviewCosy hotel in a good location - close to the beach and the city center. I arrived early and the restaurant staff were kind to store my luggage before the check-in time. Nice pool with a view on a stadium and athletic treck.
Although the self check in process was easy, I got all the instructions in Estonian only and had to call them up for verbal English instructions. Also my friend had to pick me up the next day and asked to check the parking zone, however the hotel staff could not give a piece of advice on that.

Verified reviewAll was great. Friendly stuff, we came little bit earlyer then 15:00 but owner let us in our room. Room was small but with all you need for comfortable stay. All around was so clean and bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was even better as we expected. And of course pool - our kid spended there a lot of stays time. Beach is realy close and you can see stadium. Thanks we will come again.

Verified reviewNice and cozy room, everything was clean and tidy. Hotel restautant exceeded our expectations, we had a very nice dinner and choices for breakfast where above hotel level.
You have to wait for hot water in the shower for a minute or two (maybe this is circulation issue in our room at the first floor). Hotel parking was full so we parked our car in the street just next to the hotel and got a 30eur fine next day like few other cars. Maybe i did not notice the "no parking" sign, but a short info from the hotel about parking options would be nice.

Everything was kind of off from the start. When you book it clearly said free parking. Then you find out that there is only certain number of parking spots and all of them were taken. Parked on the street to take luggage in, got a parking fine. There’s no staff. The room.. freshly renovated but really small. The weather was really hot, had to use air conditioning. It was quite loud. Clearly maintained poorly. Yes there was flat tv, again outdated and the channel selection poor. Breakfast was eatable but selection was small and overall feeling was that we would like to go and have a proper breakfast somewhere else. You would expect little bit more for the amount of money this place costs. We paid 170 euros and honestly reasonable price would be 100 less. So for us, we would never book this “villa” again. Overpriced.

We are sorry that you felt like you shouldn't contact us, because hotel manager or hotel manager assistant are on spot every day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on request come on spot even later. Maids are moving around the hotel from 10 a.m. to 2 or 3 p.m. Unfortunately we can't control the weather, so we are sorry that you had to use air conditioning. Maintenance to the A/C-s are done regularly. Considering your feedback, for the next trip in Pärnu, we would recommend higher class hotels like Hedon Spa & Hotel. Have a nice summer! Verified reviewThe property is quite out dated and you can here everything from the other rooms.
In the room there were not even the basic necessities. For example, there was only a small mirror in the toilet and the soap dispenser in the shower was empty. The breakfast was okay and had nice coffee. The outdoor pool, that was said it would be heated, was colder than the ocean.
