Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandWe payed extra for a larger room, however it seemed to us to be the same size as our mates room so didn't think it was worth the extra. The shower water went all over the bathroom floor which wasn't ideal.
Good location, quiet rooms, supermarket/takeaways very close. Hop on hop off bus stop only a 3 minute walk away. In the beautiful Old Town.

FinlandI told in the reception that the safety deposit box did not work/ lock. The guy there asked if he could go in and have a look. I said yes, but don’t know if he went there. Anyway, it did not work. The carpet in the bathroom was so worn out that it should have been thrown away.
The location was ok and it was very quiet there.

United KingdomThe walls are quite thin (I was once woken at 4am by a phone alarm in the next room, even though it sounded like it was only on vibrate 😅). But overall, there is little to dislike
Comfortable room. It is quiet and set back from the street. It is only 5-10 minutes walk from the old town, with supermarkets very close. The room has a TV and refrigerator.

Netherlands-Bed was fine for a few nights, but I would have liked a better quality matras and pillow. -Windows can't be opened.. It may be not big of a deal but you are always dependable of AC this way for cooling down the room. -Reception staff was polite but not particular warm and welcoming.
Room itself en bathroom/toilet were clean, enough toilet paper and towels available. I liked the presence of a fridge and a water boiler. Enough space in wardrobe to put away clothes. Nice location close to city center and in front of Supermarkets an pharmacy.

ItalyLocation is great, next to old town and you can easily access other areas of Tallin from here too. Room was big, bed was comfortable, and we could leave luggage at the reception after check out. For what you pay, I think is good value for money. Nothing luxurious, but comfortable and practical.

LatviaThe staff wasn’t friendly or helpful at all. We passed by in the morning and said ‘Goodmorning’ but the woman never responded. Also coming in and saying ’Hello’ she just looked at us and didn’t respond. When asked where could be the best parking spot, she just said: ‘You have to Google it!’ Aren’t the hotel staff supposed to be helpful? The shower wasn’t comfortable with the curtain just sticking to the body. And spilling water everywhere.
The location was perfect and bed was comfy

LatviaThe bed that was deemed to be queen sized was really two single beds together, making it uncomfortable to sleep. Also the window to the room was without the possibility to open so no fresh air. And the AC I'm the room seemed anciat since it made weird noises whilst working
It was an amazing place to stay location wise, it was quiet and clean. Had all the amenities needed for a short trip. Had enough space and had an okay view from the window. The room was equipped with a kettle and a small refrigerator ideal for keeping food fresh and brewing coffee.

FinlandSound proofing was not so great. But as long as other guests respect the quiet hours you won't have issues. Air conditioning was a bit loud at times in my room, but it's possible to just turn it off if it bothers you. Breakfast was okay but maybe not worth the 16€.
Excellent location! Close to the Old Town, lots of restaurants, cafés and shopping opportunities close by. The room had air conditioning and a mini fridge. Staff was friendly. Great value for money overall!

Czech RepublicYou cannot open the windows, I really hate that, but apparently it is a thing in Estonia, so there weren't many other choices. But with the AC it was doable.

United KingdomNothing really I disliked, only thing was I almost couldn't find the hotel as it's kind of hidden away where you have to walk into like a drive way / small car park, other than that there's nothing else I dislike !
Very enjoyable stay here during my first time in Estonia, located more less by the Old Town in the city centre near enough but very convenient to shops / restaurants / tourist attractions and trams etc......the staff was very helpful with any questions you may have and do their best to help !

LithuaniaI'd say the furniture was too outdated. The floor and the sofa were full of stains. And we didn't find any power outlets near the bed. The location is right in the old city center but it was very noisy due to the drunk teenagers near the kebabs and revving BMWs till the morning.
The staff was very friendly. The bed was quite comfy.
