The shower layout and water pressure

Comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, and a unique stay. The disc golf course (with free rental of discs) was great for the whole family, too.

The check-in could be a bit more straightforward. The doors close after 6pm, which is the same entrance as the museum, so we weren't sure if we came to the right place. We had to call the number provided in the booking for them to open the doors for us. I would prefer a clear instruction beforehand or a special bell on the door for those who arrive between 6pm and 10am.

Beautiful place to stay, quite an experience! The breakfast served was fantastic. The rooms are well equipped with everything you need and the beds are comfortable. The host (Sven) was helpful.

This was my second time staying at the hotel. Both times the experience has been simply great and I have been highly satisfied with my stay. The staff is very friendly and the location is definitely unique. "Tailor made" breakfast is lovely and served in a beautiful setting. This time we also had dinner at the hotel and it was delicious, local fish. I'm sure to be here again for a 3rd time.

My sister and I were the only guests. We were provided with the key to the Castle for entry. The owner of the hotel of the Castle met us personally. They made us breakfast themselves. I had checked off just about all the available items for breakfast, and was provided with appropriate portions of each item. As we were the only guests, we were asked whether we wished to have dinner at the hotel, and if so, to advise them and they would accommodate. When we indicated that we wished to experience a local restaurant, a recommendation was provided. It was excellent. Definitely a memorable experience. Jaan & Maia S.

My friend who is an elderly person had some troubles with so many stairs, it would be great to make the property more accessible but I understand it can be difficult in such a building...

Beautiful building and garden - we stayed for a night to celebrate my birthday, and it was great. Both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were superb.

Not much space around the bed if you need to get up in the night

The staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and keen to help us make the best of our stay. We were able to arrange check in after the castle's normal opening times. The castle and its suites are full of character and history, with lovely period details and it felt a privilege to stay here. Because it is an historic building there is no air conditioning but the windows can be opened and we had a very efficient fan. Breakfast was ordered in advance and very generous. Parking was free and close to the building. We took advantage of discounted admission to the castle during public hours and recommend a visit

Bathroom was a bit old fashioned and the toilet really small. Corridor had bit of a weird smell.

Beautiful castle, large room, tower room has very nice bed, restaurant is pricy but 100% worth it. Perfect location to let out the dog in the morning/evening. Maitre d’hotel is a really nice and upfront person. Lovely adjacent parc/forrest but beware of the mosquitos.

There isn't really a reception, so we kind of looked around for checkin. A bit hassly. A simple sign and arrow would help. It was out of season, so the restaurant was closed. There was no indication of this when booking. So we were told the local pub closed at 5 ... which gave us 30mins to drop bags, walk 1km and order. They did stay open till 6pm for us to finish the meal, but it was a hassle and the only other option nearby was a small supermarket. So be aware of this ... out of season, arriving after 5pm, and you will not be able to eat apart from mini-market snacks. It was mozzy season, and very hot, so we had to load up on repellent and insect room spray, cos the room also had a lot of mozzies. There was no fan, and no a/c ... altho it was exceptionally hot for May, a fan would have been a big help. We were the only guests, and it felt that if anything happened/ we needed something, we were totally on our own. THAT SAID ... if u want a castle/ manor experience THIS IS the place. Definitely a good experience just for the ambience.

We booked this place for the experience of staying in a castle. It's more of a castle-like stately home than a true castle. The tower suite was fantastic. Sven, the host, was great. The place was lovely. Breakfast was healthy and fantastic. Would I stay again? Absolutely BUT in season.

Wet spent really cozy two nights in this beautiful castle. The personnel were very friendly! We would also recommend the delicious dinner at the castle.

It was a bit too hot at the castle's tower where we stayed. Also, we were a bit surprised to pay extra for visiting the castle.
