We stayed for one night, and everything was great. The staff member was very kind, and the food was excellent, we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. The price was very reasonable, and having parking right at the entrance was a big plus. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Quilotoa.

The hosts are absolutely amazing. Super kind and helpful. The room was really clean. There was a wood stove in the room, which they put on for you, that was really lovely. Breakfast was great! Also super close to the lake.

wifi didn't work for one day, but that was in the whole city (other restaurants too), so it's not a fault of runa wasi.

the staff is VERY nice and friendly, took good care of us, felt like home ❤️ we managed the fire in the fireplace ourselves but they asked often if we need assistance:) we got offered herbal tea as well, when we were relaxing at the room.

I didn't the fact booking.com said the price was $33 per night including breakfast but our total bill came to $120 for 2 nights. I know we needed to pay extra for the evening meals and wood for the burner but this seemed very expensive. We didn't have time to negotiate or we would have missed our bus. Booking.com often seems misleading in Ecuador.

It was a lovely warm hostel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a wood burner in the room which was perfect as very cold outside. I was poorly when there and the staff really looked after me.

The hot water never lasted very long in the shower. It was really hot and lovely but it suddenly cut out after about 5 minutes each time. The second person had to then wait a while before they could shower. We’re guessing it was on a timer but you had to run it for several minutes to get it hot so I’m guessing this ate into your time allowed. We were there for three nights and it would have been nice to have the toilet bin emptied during that time.

Lovely place. Small but comfortable room. Loads of blankets on the bed so stayed really warm during the night. The wood burner in the room was lovely and essential as it was so cold. Ladies were very attentive with lighting it and giving us a basket of wood. Food was good.

Cute little family run accommodation. Perfect for finishing the Quilatoa Loop. Dinner and breakfast were great - tasty and plenty of food. Room was large, clean and had a fireplace inside the room in case it got cold.

The only thing that this hotel needs is to get their showers in order. The climate is cold in this town so having a cold shower just doesn’t work. They told me it would warm up after a few minutes, but it never did.

The staff was nice and the room was cozy. Having the fire made at night in your room is quite interesting and keeps you warm. The breakfast was good.
