Posada is very close to a few mini markets and a short walk from the flamingos and beautiful beaches. The evening view from the rooftop is extraordinary. During our stay there was a tsunami evacuation and our host was fantastic throughout, walking us to the truck and keeping us informed.

Not a complaint but be aware like most showers in south America it's difficult to get a balance between temperature and pressure.

Jason was an excellent host. The room was spacious with comfortable beds. There was water and fruit available everyday. A towel was provided and was changed after two nights for me.

Little bit far out of the town.

Spacious room, hot powerful shower, free laundry - snorkelling equipment also available. Fan in the room kept room cool in the evening. Free bananas and oranges for guests . Nice hammock hang out location and kitchen to make breakfast.

We absolutely loved our stay at Posada del Caminante on Isabela Island! The place is beautiful, cozy, and full of charm — surrounded by nature and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the Galápagos. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with anything we needed. It really felt like a home away from home. If you're visiting Isabela on a budget, this place is a perfect choice — affordable without sacrificing comfort. Highly recommend staying here for a peaceful and authentic experience in the Galápagos!

Staff are hard to find during the day.

Basic but good, clean accommodation. Beds were comfy. Chill out area had lots of hammocks and free Bananas! There was free water also which is a huge plus not having to buy lots of bottles of water. Location is easy to walk everywhere.

No hot water :( since isabela is warm it wasn’t the worst, but worth mentioning

Staff was friendly and helpful, bed was clean and comfy, felt safe (even though our dorm room was open with no key :D), free laundry service which was great, a few minutes walking distance from most places in town, the kitchen was not the best but was good enough for a coffee in the morning

This hostel is great value for money, our room was super spacious, clean, and the shower was very hot with great water pressure. We loved the undercover hammock area and there is also a basic kitchen. There was free bananas and oranges, filtered water, and snorkelling gear to borrow AND laundry. It's also located close to good cheap restaurants and an amazing bakery.

Our room was very spacious and stayed cool throughout the day. Jason was super lovely. The fruit was delicious and laundry service was fast. They also hire out GoPros for less than what tour companies ask for. Would recommend and stay again.

About a 25 minute walk from the port. Kitchen could have been cleaner/better equipped.

Friendly owners, free drinking water, bananas & laundry! Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable and when the hot water worked it was the best shower I’d had in months, amazing pressure. Towels were refreshed after a couple of nights. Nice hammock hang out spot.

It was not that bad but I think one should know that you can not lock the dorm and there are no lockers available in the dorm. Also there is no air conditioning.
