Well... It did say they offer Airport shuttle, which is the reason we choose them. It turned out it was a normal taxi at a normal price. But it could have been that we also had to leave quite early. The other thing is no hot water. There was a gizmo in the bathroom, no idea what it was but, it wasn't for hot water.

We traveled for a few weeks in Ecuador and this is one of the more quiet places. That alone is worth it. The owners were super sweet as well. Bed was great also and they made us a superb breakfast. Also the rooms were huge.

It was great! Orlando is an amazing host, we felt like at home. It is around 15mn walk to the historical city center , very close to Mariscal. We will come back!

The house was beautiful and the people were phenomenal. If I could have scored them higher, I would have. They have their own coffee plants and harvest and roast them on site. I will be back!!

I didn't appreciate the questions when I didn't eat something or drank very little. My likes and dislikes are mine and I shouldn't have to be questioned. The room got really cold at night. I understand that the windows are very thin but with no central air or heating, it was a bit uncomfortable getting ready in the cold.

Overall, my stay was great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was really good and all homemade. They even offered dinner which was nice. I felt at home and taken care of. I even had tea brought to my room one evening.

We loved our stay here. The family were so welcoming and even made us a lovely dinner that evening. The rooms were very clean.

The owners were very helpful, welcoming and friendly. We felt at home during our entire stay. The breakfast is handmade, delicious and different every morning. The rooms are clean and spacious and get cleaned every day. The hotel is sociable and the city center is quite close (10-15 mins walk). If I were going back to Quito I would definitely stay here again

Slightly loud and bright next to road and bed not the most comfortable. Not particularly close to any neighbourhood for sight seeing etc.

Breakfast was good, B&B style in the owners lounge area. We were upgraded by booking to a room with a balcony which meant room was nice and spacious.

We absolutely loved casa de la nonna, we felt truly welcomed by our hosts and they were such an amazing help as well! It definitely lives up to its name, it felt like I was staying at my grandma's house.

Hotel runned by a lovely family, we were extremely well treated. It is clean and have Hot water, walking distance from the historic center. Best quality price we had in our trip in Ecuador.

Difficult to find. The address on booking.com was not correct which was concerning when arriving in the middle of the night and cab driver was not able to find it. We were able to call the hotel and get the correct address. In fairness to the owners an email was sent to me with the correct address on our travel day to Quito but we didn’t get the email until we had access to wifi as we were enroute and did not have cell data.

It was a great location, great traditional Ecuadorian breakfast and the family who ran the hotel were wonderful! The room was a good size and very clean. It was colder than we expected but we were given an extra warm blanket and heater.

I'll start with the wifi. It was spotty at best and basically unreliable. The shower was a huge downer because it was too small (for a tall person like myself). It had one of those suicide shower showerheads that makes you choose between decent water pressure and decent water temperature because it won't let you have both. Also, the power suspiciously went out every time I took a shower, so my showers were often cut short. That water is freezing cold any time of day and it's impossible to take a shower when the power is out. There is no hot or warm water in the bathroom sink. The water was freezing day and night, so it was always very uncomfortable for me to wash my hands or face. The room itself is big, but it was very dusty and I could see that some trash and hair had been swept under the bed. There's no refrigerator or microwave in the room, but they might let you use the ones in their actual house if you ask them. They gave me a key to the bedroom, but not to the front gate, so I had to ring the bell and wait for them to unlock the gate everything I came in/went out.

The family that runs the place are some of the sweetest people I've met in Ecuador yet. They're friendly and helpful. In-house laundry services are available here. Their breakfast was fantastic! There is a wide desk and a dresser with space to hang some clothes in the room. There is an open and accessible rooftop.

Bad experience. Hosts were spray painting in the hallway outside my room for hours. The hallway and my room smelled like spray paint and was foggy due to all the paint. I tried to tell them that it’s very strong smell in my room. They let me hang out on the terrace but continued. I could not stay and breath that in as it’s unhealthy. I ended up walking to find a new hotel. Was also very hard to find and the area did not feel safe to walk around.

The bed was very uncomfortable and it was located right next to a school which was very loud in the morning.

The owner was lovely and very friendly. The room was large.
